I’ll probably post most of trailers and stuff moving forward in the ā€˜not E3’ thread since this week was originally when E3 was supposed to happen.

Yeh. I was kinda wondering why you posted all the trailers here.

But at the same I was like ā€œcause no ones is visiting or talking about stuff in you thread, Stuart! You included!ā€

People were mostly talking in here so I posted it without thinking about it plus my son wanting my attention lol. I’ll copy them over.

New patch and Takedown map for Borderlands 3 is releasing tomorrow. New DLC Story mission is coming out on June 25th.

I’ve been playing Gunfire Reborn on steam, it’s a roguelike fps that’s getting great reviews. The shooting in that game is so satisfying.

Hey he’s def apart of it. This demon has been wanting my attention all day. I’m typing this with one hand right now! lol. I had a brief moment to myself and I grabbed everything quickly. Doing E3 like I did in the past if it was still happening this year would have been impossible!

Nice. Sounds like you have him in a good routine to go to sleep at night. I’m still dealing with the ā€œwitching hourā€ where she cries a bunch for a few hours every night. And wakes up every hour or so. Though the last couple nights we’ve gotten her to sleep for up to 4 hours at a time.

It makes it tough to commit to videogames right now, lol.

Oh no doubt the first month or so are rough until you can get em in a routine. I was still able to game but not nearly a much and couldn’t play online cause you never knew when he’d sound the alarm. Once you get 'em on a routine things get easier. My son is at a point now where he whines but I can’t figure out exactly what he wants which might be related to teething. He puts everything in his mouth aside from the actual pacifier.

Yeah I’ve been having to play only casual matches in Rocket League, so my teammates don’t get bent out of shape if I disappear mid-match lol. I’ve also been able to work on a few Mario levels here and there.

Glad to know it gets a little easier!

Having a wife who games is great cause when FF7R came out she understood and took most watch duty while I was playing that. Kid is already trying to push buttons if I’m holding him and trying to play. Can’t wait till he’s actually able to hold a controller.

Beatboxing the ā€˜Hip Hop De Chocobo’ track from FF7R makes him smile. =D

I took out the asshole boss in Knee-Ho 2 last night. I left the level and ran some side missions, and I ended up unlocking more magic skills.

-I enchant my weapon with lightning damage for extra deeps
-I eat some POWER PILLS for even more damage
-I throw 2 poison shurikens to poison the asshole boss
-I curse him with this magic spell that slows his movement and attacks to a crawl
-I toss caltrops on the ground which also slow the boss. It stacks with the magic slow effect it seems.
-I maintain poison on the boss with poison shurikens

Dude went out in 2 attempts after that. He took me out easily 10++++ times before those serious attempts. He was the hardest boss in the game for me so far, and I’ve killed a few bosses since him. It looks like I have a few levels left before I finish the game. I used very similar tactics in Knee-Ho 1 as well, it’s the great equalizer when it comes to some of the bosses.

@Radiantsilvergun3 I maxed Swords/Dual Swords and have been using the Tonfas a little bit, since just like in Knee-Ho 1 you need to max out each weapon type for their respective trophy.

Tonfas feel pretty schweet. I got the one move that allows me to go into a funky combo string after a Ki Pulse and it shreds lower enemy types. The skill tree is way more interesting than the Dual Swords/Sword one too, there are things like damage boosts the more you attack, as well as some other stuff that is more interesting than the usual ā€œ10% faster Ki recharge when blockingā€ nodes.

@Million-X You’d love this game, they stole a mechanic from Soul Sacrifice. You get Yokai Souls and these are unique special moves that you can use multiple of, and the souls themselves have levels and stats. It’s almost 1:1 how it worked in Soul Sacrifice.

Yea the Tonfa are way fun. I like them a lot more then the Swords and yea the nodes are a lot more interesting then the sword ones.

Also that Ki Pulse Combo fucks up everything’s stamina bars. Takes a little while but once you start getting good ones it just hammers stamina bars hard. It’s great. Glad your liking them. My favorite weapon so far.

I wanna try a Spear next, but I might try the Glaive, Scythe weapon thing. Dunno yet.

Haha yup, the no pulse special puts them in a guard broken state for a follow up stab attack that’s out of Onimusha/Ninja Gaiden 1. Speaking of Oni, I get a lot of Oni vibes with this game, especially since Nobunaga and Hideyoshi are here coupled with the transformation move.

Only issue is I’m heavy built into Heart, so I’m not getting that big of a damage bonus for the ol’ Tonfas. I’d respec but I know just spending the points/redistributing the skills doesn’t sound like a fun time, haha.

Yea I made a new build for the Tonfa when I tried them out.

What type of game is Werewolf the Apocalypse suppose to be? That will depend if I will fucks with it.

This game looks pretty schweet.

This is the most wholesome shit I’ve read on this site in a while.
