Did my first Twilight mission(which was annoying as shit at times) and have made it to the 2nd region in Knee-Ho 2.
I’m getting used to the reworked steel-on-bone mechanic x-copied from Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge.
I have the HD collection on PS3 and no, there is no PS1 disc. To Stuart, the original isn’t on Xbox because it’s only available on PS3 as a PS1 classic.
This collection on PS2(which I also have because I love me some MGS) however does have the PS1 games on actual PS1 discs, and it has some content that got chopped in the HD releases IIRC.
And yeah, I’m aware that MGS1 was only released for Sony products but for whatever reason I thought the Hd trilogy set or the essential collection also came out on the 360. Mandela effected myself I guess lol
So I ordered Dragon’s Crown Pro. I need to maximize my time with it. I think there were some people here who played it. I wanted to ask what are the best tips and tricks. What did wish you knew early on? Are there stuff I shouldn’t bother with? Useless stuff? how to level up fast? is it true you can’t skip the food mini-game?
I am leaning towards Amazon and one of the spellcasters, Mage or Sorceress
I just started a new game not long ago in Dragon’s Crown. Sorceress again. Another save I have is from 2014 and I was playing with Amazon in that one. Before that was the elf archer broad.
The food mini game gives you some good buffs dont it. I like it.
I play a lot of those old style rpgs like baldurs gate fallout1 and 2. Lately Ive been playing ATOM RPG and Wasteland 2. I play Baldurs Gate 2 here and there still. I like the story driven games more than the ones that are more focused on loot and end game stuff.
My wife went out of town for the weekend. What was originally going to be playing video games because obvious reasons, my brother came through to get help building a PC. As of now, this would be the third PC I’ve built for him. He plans to use it for video editing, but also wants it to play games if he ever decided to go that route. Here’s what I threw in it:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Asus ROG Strix B450
RX 580 (8GB) Graphics Card
970 Evo Plus SSD
Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM (32 GB)
It’s a pretty solid build and benchmarks really well across the board. He lives a couple hours away, so all the parts were delivered to the house so they’d be ready when he brought his case over. He thought that since solo weekends for a married man are valuable, he was intruding. It’s my brother, so I couldn’t say no, and I love doing those kinds of projects. I haven’t really messed around with tech type stuff since I moved over into being a researcher so it was great to wear that hat again.
He brought his Switch with him since it’s basically a family requirement that we play Smash when we get together. Finally got around to playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Astral Chain (both pretty solid). Closed out the weekend to binge-watching JoJo Pt 1 (Phantom Blood). I have made a new fan The “loaves of bread” line sent him over the top
So when he was leaving this AM, I noticed he didn’t pack his Switch. He said “Man, I’m gonna be on this thing, I won’t be using it for a while. I’ll get it from you in a couple months. Have fun with it.”
Oh sorry my misunderstanding, yeah the 2000’s trilogy is really good, maybe a little rough and wonky in some areas by today’s standards but great titles nonetheless.
A bit more info… a physical “Collector’s Edition” too! (Alyn Shir statue, key-ring, soundtrack, etc.!)
hell YEAH I’m so looking forward to this.
There was so many great memories of this… ha, I look forward to my character double-crossing certain factions once again…heh heh… the Warsworn hated me forever after what I did.
This video and it’s creator totally changed my mind on Sorceress. I had always thought she was purely support that did constant “background” damage and facilitated damage for other players and was only good in a group. She can hold her own solo especially with this tech. The anti-air magic cancels requires pressing Square+O together, so might have to do some thumb gymnastics or shift your fingers on the pad like you’re playing Tekken. Admittedly, you can blow through the first few difficulties without learning any of this, but it’s nice to have in your arsenal.
Also has awesome tech videos for Elf and Knight. Check out the playthroughs of the Endgame infinite dungeons too if youre curious how high-level play looks (he’s an elf specialist who plays with an awesome Knight).
