Video Game General 7.0: Day Juan Ys: MoC June 9th & Wonderful 101 June 30th!

It was supposed to come stateside at some point but I haven’t heard anything about in close to a year, maybe even over a year.

Only rhythm games can get away with needing a peripheral to be fun.

PFFT

Flight sticks used to be one of the more common PC peripherals.

Also rhythm games are ass.

Dream of the Demon will probably be first. In the first, each DLC added one difficulty in addition to the new content.

I’m curious why you’re using Rokurokubi though, in my testing of it it seemed really bad but I kept wondering if I was missing something about it.

sheeeeitttt, Blightbound looks like my kinda thing. I’m just hoping for a console version to be announced later… and yeah, preferrably Switch of course.

I went on and bought Saints Row 4 for Switch in what was probably the last hours before the sale ended; it was to end today…so now I have portable SR4. Even in this time of lockdown (as society teeters on the edge of complete ruin and chaos), the portable gaming experience still kicks ass. That luxury of playing a game out there on the porch, or in the middle of the backyard if I want, or out in the car, etc… literally anywhere…it’s delicious.

anyway, I’m already wondering what type of character I’ll make in this…the customization was always a big selling point for me in this franchise… the possibilities due to recent events in pop culture and the news are interesting—> Besides the usual big names… maybe I make the character look like Harvey Weinstein? Bill Cosby? …maybe Alex Jones… Elliott Roger the Supreme Gentleman!..there’s been a lot of “interesting” people in the newsmedia for all kinds of wild reasons in the past several years since I played a Saint’s Row.

Starts in 15 minutes.

From what I’ve been reading the presentation is going to be about 18 minutes. Give or take

Damn I just noticed I butchered every name, even yours lol. My bad. The only Yokai ability I use is Kasha, everything else is just for their passives. Rokurokubi gives +20% Yokai damage to poisoned enemies.

Unless I can find Gyuki at -1. Then I’ll be using that instead of Poison Shurikens. My build is almost completely centered around Anima, so I usually have enough to spam multiple abilities in a row.

State of play is now live

It’s cool, that’s my PSN name anyway lol

Ahhh, right I forgot it had that. Gyuki is pretty good as an actual attack too IMO, just limited by the set range.

Hm. Maybe poison is the way to go. I’ve been trying to make a Lightning build work with the Way of The West set, since you get 15% extra melee damage when enemies are electrified. Doesn’t seem like I’m really any more powerful than I was before the build tho.

Still gotta beat NG+ too.

holy SHIT this Ghosts of Tsushima game is so goddamn BOUGHT :open_mouth:

I was running a fire build at first, but there’s just so many enemies and bosses that are immune or resit fire.

Ghosts of Tsushima gonna give us the Tenchu fix we deserve and be more assassin’s creed than that Viking mess. :triumph:

Any element can work really, you can get affliction damage bonuses for every status effect.

Wow the Japanese lip syncing for GoT looks horrible

The only things I liked from that state of play was

  • Armor isn’t just something cosmetic

  • Kurosawa mode

Other than that I was not even remotely impressed. As of now Ghost is a hard pass

I chuckled when they tried to pass Japanese with subs as some amazing feature as if almost every game with voice acting doesn’t already have that option

I wonder which element allows for the best bonus melee damage.
