I’m almost done with Darksiders Genesis, game is pretty fun, never played a DS game before, I picked this up because I wanted a Dungeon Crawler. It’s a little bit buggy and I do struggle with the camera angle at times.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is bringing back hidden blade insta-kills and social stealth.
As someone who hasn’t played an AC game since Ezio stopped being the protagonist, the fact that these were removed (am I reading it right that Odyssey didn’t even have the hidden blade?) boggles the mind.
Diablo shenanigans—that “Gem of Ease” continues to be the most insane power-leveling item I’ve ever seen in a game; I got it up to level 30 or so then checked it out on a fresh character for a minute, just to once again see how fast this would go…
Level 1 Witch Doctor… went straight into “torment VI” difficulty. I killed one enemy and immediately leveled up to 25. With each kill it kept jumping up by “chunks” of leveling. In a couple of minutes the character was already level 50.
Assassin’s Creed— this franchise looks like it stopped being about “assassin” characters a long time ago. On another note—it seems silly to ever buy these games at full price on day 1, because I keep noticing they are ALWAYS on sale. I’m not sure there’s ever been a sale on Live at least where all the recent Assassin’s Creed games (including the “Deluxe” editions) weren’t on there.
it didn’t hit me till he appeared as big bear in fatal fury 2 then that’s when i was like this is vader. snk had the best picks axel hawk was based on george foreman.
Waiting for 4. At this point I don’t think any game is going to dethrone PoE. It’s become a giant on its own, and instead of Diablo clones we get PoE clones now.
Wolcen kind of came and went. The bugs, the dupes and the broken skill tree made 90% of the playerbase dip out. It’s kind of a shame, the game is a lot of fun to play but the end-game isn’t really there. I worry this might be the case for D4 too, like the game has to release to compete with a game that has had content updates for almost a decade or so.
I hope the best for D4. It’s the only Blizzard franchise I care about.
There was also Alexander the Grater from Saturday Night Slam Masters who is also a Vader hommage (he even has the same mask during his ring entrances that Vader had during his stints in Japan):
Just noticing, did the guy who did the artwork for Slam Masters the same guy who did Fist of the North Star?
