I feel like they just remastered THPS 1 and 2 this gen didn’t they? Or was that last gen? Either way this looks like way more work was put in to it so hopefully its good

@sonichuman They did a “best of THPS” basically during the PS360 era where they took all the most memorable levels from 1-3 and compiled them into one game

Yeah unoptimized games piss me off. Shit got me thinking like “wtf I got a $400 gpu, why am I not reaching 60fps?” and then it turns out the game just has shitty optimization.

They did a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD on PS3, which was a sort of remake of THPS1, and reportedly it was total garbage

I saw a couple of skateboarding games when I was lookin’ at that queue thing on steam. They looked cool I suppose. Im just wondering how the controls are and such. I’ll try them out eventually.

THPS 1+2 Remaster will be $40. Preorders are now live for it at various retailers. There is also a $100 collectors edition up for preorder but there are no details on what’s in the collectors edition.

They’re pretty easy and straight forward when putting them together. Its just screwing shit in and plugging shit in. I guess if you gotta make it fancy then it gets a bit more…hmmm…troublesome. I dont do the fancy stuff doe. Leave that to the computer building enthusiast dorks.

I said I been playing Dark Souls a few days ago. Its still no different this time. I’ve died to a boss 2 times now and thats it. No other enemy has done me in. I’ve fallen to my death about 30 times doe.

Yeah. I was excepting anywhere between $30-40. Any less would have made me think it’s a lazy cash grab like the collection from PS360 era or more recent THPS5 which Activision has the audacity to sell at full MSRP.
If it was anymore than $40 I would have chalked it up to Activision being greedy and I’d just wait for it to be bargain binned.
I’m glad it’s being released physically as well. Otherwise I would have passed on it until it was on deep discount
