Regardless, a 56 out of 100, even considering those negatives? Like, dude, the game is actually a completed and (mostly) finished product, it’s working as intended, doesn’t crash every 5 minutes nor causes your PC or console to blow up. It looks and sounds like at least 7 at worst. 56 is something I would expect for fucking Ride to Hell Retribution, a game that’s just shit and barely works (at an acceptable framerate)
PC Gamer went kinda overboard with their final score
I wonder if the devteam will add more stuff via patches ike how Resi2 remake received a couple of additional modes and free DLC post-launch. It probably won’t be anything as big as a dynamic campaign but surely more story could be delivered in updates?
I’m sure speedrunners will appreciate not having to deal with RNG fuckery. No more runs ending prematurely because they didn’t get the grenade launcher at the RPD and having to guess which puzzle solution loaded up.
I learn to ignore scores as often times the written content of the review doesn’t not reflect the number they give it. Seems to the be the case here.
Sounds like RE3 is at atleast a respectable game. A step down from RE2 but not a shit fest. I’m not reading anything that makes it unplayable, definitely sounds disappointing tho
Anyways, on to CV. That game was pretty massive for an RE title. That’ll take awhile to make
Given how M2 is a pretty well known development team for years behind awesome retro ports and recently the Sega Genesis Mini, why would someone name their new team M-Two?
PC gamer is a trash oulet full of dumbasses that complain about games being hard, sexists, not peta endorsed, etc.
No one should be giving even a second of their time to them.
I browse YT in incognito mode, if I want to look at boss fights I’ve done, just so it doesn’t recommend other stuff. I’ve marked some YT’ers as ‘spam’ and ‘not interested’ as well, if they like to spoil shit.
I used to just not go on YT or click on threads of games I’m interested in, since that’s the best way, but the above steps help as well.
