Dana is pretty high tier in that game. Her combos and damage output is pretty wacky. I had her on my team most of the time actually, her and Sahad.
I stayed in this area killing shit because the soundtrack for this area in Ys 7 was fucking amazing. 
I feel like if you never played the Zero or ZX (or any older series you never touched before), you should try to emulate the game first before you buy. That way you know what you are getting into.
Or at least wait till after launch and see how people react to the purchase.

I would add that anyone starting the zero games should start with Z3. 1 and 2 are good, but 3 really ironed out some major annoyances. I can see someone losing interest quickly if they started at the beginning. Conversely, if you go back to 1 and 2 after 3, I think most would enjoy them.

The two consoles, if I am understanding they are going with the exact same architecture again, x86 architecture at 64 bits, it should be backwards compatible without handing to include special hardware.
If they include PS1 and PS2 into the mix as well, the PS5 is good as bought from me.
I like to see PS3 as well, but I see some extra technical hurdles for PS3 backwards compatibility/Emulation.
All of the games on the collection have about 15 years worth of impressions to look up so no shortage of that. I think thats what OP is doingā¦asking us for impressions before he buys.

The only console i think will be tricky to be fully compatible is with the PS3 due the Cell Processor arquitecture.
The other consoles are no brainers, since they can be easily emulated those days.

Iām wasnāt a fan of the Archie run so thatās not what I have against him. Itās his sense of entitlement towards an IP that doesnāt belong to him. I personally donāt care for his OCs but he needs to fuck off when it comes to the game and cartoon characters.
Like I would not be mad if the BC for PS3 was digital only and not Disc, and the games work as they rewrote or port them over to the PS5 architecture. Just honor anyone who already purchased PSN versions of PS3 games as a cross buy.
But I like to see PS1, PS2 and PS4 disc support.
