But you gave Mighty no 9 a Grand. There no deflecting on defending that.
Mighty N0 9 that is empirically awful in every category.
You know, i am the type that never lets what other think interfere with what i enjoy.
But in the case of MN9, it was memeed so hard that once i got my copy i couldnt play it for a long time because my hype was dead, lol.
It was until this year that i finally decided to play it.
It is not as bad as people made it be.
Perhaps the only thing i would never forgive is that the backers didnt vote for Call version E.
That was a true waifu material.
And you keep moving goalposts. Sure theyâre different mediums with different considerarions but the method of delivering them is the same. Plus if it means killing off the second hand market, old ass out of print games being able to generate revenue again, bet theyâll be onboard. Games already change dramatically when you play them online, if anything this is probably an instance where the two will be closer. Companies like Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Google, and Apple have money to be able to have servers everywhere and actually deliver a smooth experience.
Your whole argument is âIâve never tried it, but I know I wouldnât like itâ on some Green Eggs & Ham shit.
Anyway Iâve said my peace. I guess weâll have to agree to disagree on this.
guess the post didnât make. Found my OG copies of Cave Story and Warning Forever. Also another fun one called Decker (Shadowrun hacky type of game, sunk hours into it because of how simple fun it was).
Good times in the internet when you could get sick ass indie games for free and theyâd all fit into a floppy.
I know some of you guys enjoy schmups (RSG3 and a few others) so hereâs some WF gameplay:
LMAO, tell me how have i been moving the goalpost.
To me that is one of the laziest ways to try to shut down a discussion.
I have been very clear in my position, with each one of my posts, giving you counter points on why streaming games is possibly the most stupid idea ever, both in terms of gameplay experience, and how you are giving up on your consumer rights.
If you dont have counterpoints or simply want to leave the discussion just say it.
And yes we can agree to disagree.
My stance that is a way to con people out of their money for shitty experience just for more grandeaur espectacle that amounts to nothing will never change.
Every con weights more than any pro that shit can have.
I remember E and B being my favorites in the vote. What a waste
Game wasnât even bad and throwing 1k didnât hurt in any capacity mate lmao. Also itâs quality has nothing to do with Indivisible. You just seem butthurt.
Damnit, why couldnât that game be as good as it could have been? I know itâs a weird statement, but so many good ideas just⌠fizzled out
(Talking about Indivisible here) Just baffled how a person that claimed not to follow a game development, claims to have has zero interest in same game is railing so hard against it.
Only thing I am mad about is this
But you put in a Grand. So you are just being a hypocrite.
I would say that is also not as bad as the controversy says.
It problem was that it was mediocre. The game is just ehh.
And the expectations were to high.
Also, they really didnt understand how crowfunding work.
They assumed that the amount of money recauded would be near at the amount of the campaing, but in the end they got like only half of it.
Also they spread their eggs in too many places, trying to have the game on many consoles instead of focusing one 2 or 3 and spending more time ironing the game.
sadly the controversy will make it so that we never see another try, where they could actually deliver.
Which by itself it could be a blessing in disguise. LOL
Iâm not trying to shut down the discussion, but itâs not going anywhere and it wonât because youre too busy yelling âget off my lawnâ to even consider that things in 5-10 years are going to be a lot different than they are now.
You gave opinions, and you moved from the experience of it being bad which I replied that these companies all have deep pockets, then you went on your rent about owning stuff which, while true, is just you, and has nothing to do with anything but the fact that you like owning stuff. which are not facts. The only real fact here is, neither of us knows what a true game streaming service is going to be like yet.
Youâre right abut the ownership thing but I donât think most people these days care much about owning a game last the time that they play it. Different strokes for different folks. And like I said before, itâs not like youâre going to have no other options for gaming than a streaming service.
How am I railing hard against it? I didnât follow development so I canât be interested since it finally dropped, but in a state people arenât happy about? All I said was endgame looked sketchy, so did combat strategy after a certain point and Iâll wait for inevitable patch/fix before I pick it up.
Iâm not the only one saying this stuff. A video was posted earlier and look at this too.
Youâre legit butthurt right now. Get the fuck over it.
Also Iâm not being a hypocrite. I spend my money on whatever the fuck I want or deem worth my time. I couldâve dropped 5-10k on MN9, had dinner with mother fucking Inafune and not bat a gotdamn eye. Get off my dick bitch.
Reading that reddit thread, how can someone love or adore a studio with just one game prior this one?
I like skullgirls yes (specially the artsyle, i would say that i love it.), and had an amicable relationship with MikeZ when he posted on SRK even when we disagreed on stuff at times.
But to say that i adore lab zero?
naaaahâŚ
Thatâs why I didnât follow game development on this cause they donât got a lot of history.
Peeps just acting mad obsessed atm.
So Indivisible sucks ass? Thats unfortunate.
Whats wrong with it?
Is not that it sucks, but that is clear that it was simplified from the previous early builds.
It also had some content cut, and in some parts it could feel unfinished apparently.
From my part i am liking it so far, but i am not that deep into the game yet.
Some peeps say that by the end game it becomes bland, and i cant comment on that because i am not there yet.
I think what you want out of Indivisible will determine if it sucks or not. I like endgame stuff, high difficulty, interesting mechanics. It lacks all of that and lots of cut content.
Some are fine coasting through the story with great character art, nice environments, I guess a passable story and donât care about missing stuff.
My guess will be that maybe is the human interaction between the devs and the people that makes them love them.
Add that is small indie dev that it is clear they put love on what they make.
So that could be also charming to their fans.
