I love how wholesome Sskurai is during these Smash Ultimate presentations. He called Mother Brain Mom, which had to be the cutest thing ever.
Also, the man did a Squad Strike with 5v5 with one character. Sakurai is the kinda dude that killed all the other Mavericks in Mega Man X first and saved Chill Penguin for last.

Faust is definitely bringing the creep vibe. I assume the heavy shadows was used to enhance that feeling, my concern is that the shadows were way overdone.
Shmup heads I need some recommendationsā¦
My son saw me playing Batsugun yesterday and he was intrigued and joined in an was playing with me. However he is only 4 and probably couldnāt follow what was going on because so much crap is going on in that game and itās pretty tough in later levels.
So Iām wondering if anyone can recommend any shmups that are on the easier side that while I know wonāt be as easy as his Pat Patrol game on X1, it may be something he can actually follow and not just die constantly lol. Looking for arcade shmups on MAME.
Tough to make recommendations for that but my suggestion is to look at 80ās era games. They are still tough but are before a billion bullets was the standard. Games like Twin Cobra/Kyukyoku Tiger and SameSame!.

I would have said Parodius but thatās about as tough as any regular shmup.

Yea Parodius is tough, especially since you return to base power and a checkpoint when you die.

That DBZ Kakarot clip is cool and all but it looks like itās missingā¦something? I dunno I feel like it skips from Gohan powering up to SSJ 2 to Cell spitting out 18 kinda fast. I miss having Cell slowly shit his pants by realizing how much stronger Gohan is.

damnnnn, I shouldāve known this would be the case since I doubt they got the old voices backā¦ watching a dude stream this on Mixer right now and heās on Namekā¦ surely enough, Zarbon does NOT have the cool Aussie-sounding voiceā¦ I figured this would be the case but the disappointment is still there big time on this issue

Been playing Blazing Chrome for the last 2 nights when I have gotten off work. It tries to be Contra Hard Corps 2 as it seems to have borrowed heavily from that gameās art style. The big downside is that this game is really short, much shorter than Hard Corps and does not have all the divergent paths/bosses to go on, so I would recommend picking it up on sale. If this game had 5 or 6 more levels it would have been more worth it IMO.

I played that DBZ game for a bit last night. Feels like a lot of the other arena fighters(?) feelā¦Iād imagine. I never played one but it looks the same as those. Its pretty thats for sure. Sound is good. Running around and stuff works ok. Seems a pretty standard type game in the DBZ universe.
Iād say, if you ever liked dragonball you should check it out. Its like playing the damn cartoon series.
I think youāre thinking of the Twinbee series. I played the one that was released here in the states as āStingerā for the NES when I was a kid. Played with my brother and my dad in 2P all the time. I remember it being hard but fun. Definitely playable for kids who are gamers and itās got 2P @purbeast

Do you guys think an Xbox 360 Rockband drum set is worth even trying to sell or should I just trash it? Also got 1 guitar. And I found my Wii Fit board. I have no clue if those things are worth anything or not.

Only shmup Iām playing now is Sine Mora. Its mad easy as far as some people are concerned. Like its hard for me but for people that like these kinda games its easy.

I agree, alot of 80s shooters to choose from, there a few early 90s stuff I might recomend as well.
Sonic Wings/Aero Fighters is good, especially 2
