Put 200 hours into MHW total during the first few months after release (Jan 2018?!) and I thought that was crazy. Now I know those were rookie numbers. Gotta pump those numbers up. I dropped it because I foresaw it being a real timesink. I jokingly thought to myself “I could drop 1000 hours into this game!”

After the 4 characters that preceded Byleth? Yeah. Super underwhelming. They even made a joke in Byleths reveal trailer about there being too many sword users in Smash which is why Soleth gave Byleth the legendary weapons.

Best thing about the reveal is the trailer for the Three Houses DLC. Byleth joining the roster of Smash… meh, would have preferred someone else even from that game.
