Video Game General 6.5: Now with more surprise mechanics

So like Pokemon Go, but you snap screen shots instead of actually capturing mons?
And you got some NPC judging you for the composition and subject matter of your "photos’.

Problem I see it be too similar to Go

I don’t care if you like Snap ether. I think Snap is a product of it’s time and it’s success can’t be replicated the say way with the same approach.

Yea cool, games are done lots of different ways, now it could be done differently. Its Nintendo they rarely make the same game twice after all.

I just find it really funny the guy who always says all he needs are retro games is accusing us of having nostalgia goggles. Hella funny imo.

Still out and about with friends. We played Super Bomberman R for about 4 hours this afternoon It was absolute fucking chaos but the others absolutely loved it because of how cut throat and absolutely chaotic the game was. So that made me really happy.

We played New Super Mario Bro’s. U Deluxe as well. We beat the first two worlds and stopped though. I was getting frustrated because everyone was so shitty so I kept speeding ahead and making them die. Lol

We’re out to dinner right now. But they want to go back to to their house and play more Super Bomberman R.

Makes this old man happy.

Is not Bulleta.
Is his girlfriend, who escaped alongside him from the people who experimented on both of them.
You can see her on some of his intos and outros on 3s

Edit

NVMND, didnt see the Bulleta pic at the end, which i assume is the one you are talking about, lol

Lol. All good homie

Haha oh shit, in b4 Tencent owns 80%+ of the company like they do with every developer they “invest” in.

In b4 every new Platinum game has DLC out the ass to appease their new Chinese overlords.

Tencent man. Scarier than EA, 2K and Acti/Blizz. They own everythang.

For sure. It’s definitely not a good look.

You are that hard for Pokemon Snap?

Good Job :+1:

Sure, if you want to be a child about it.

Well, after a bit of research, things have definitely turned around for me in Code Vein…I was on a roll earlier just killing everything; stopped for the night with about 47,000+ haze, ready to buy more upgrades or level up or whatever…also mastered several dark gifts in the process…I’m on the fast-track to vampiric supremacy here.

I’m also noticing just how good that character creation is, mainly due to the accessories. I wasn’t aware until recently you can change the size of these objects, set them in different areas or swivel them around, etc…at least most of them. So…now there’s even more of a dilemma with characters here— naturally I’ve made both male and female characters…but now I MUST make a 3rd one that is designed to be the strange, horribly misshapen monster; the possibilities should be interesting considering you can place multiple accessories on a character and adjust the size and location of them, along with color. I already checked 1 out and made notes for later—there’s a skull you could adjust to fully cover the face…I then took the ponytail and switched it to the front-side under the lower part of the skull-mask then messed around with the colors (resulting visual = skull face has a giant, raggedy beard)…

…in fact, I can already see how you’d make “Barragan” from Bleach, or a similar creature design with just the hair options, the skull face and the crown which is another accessory… the potential here is GOLD, folks.

To be honest with you Million the character creator is more fun the the actual game itself lol.

That describes my experience with MMO’s that weren’t Phantasy Star Online. Lol

Well I mean I actually like Code Vein, it’s one of the few Souls knock offs I’ve actually enjoyed.

It’s character creator is fucking next level tho.

I haven’t played it. I don’t really like any of the “Souls-Like” games. They just aren’t appealing to me. I tried Demon Souls as well as Dark Souls and just couldn’t get myself to care about them. It wasn’t from the usually “git gud” difficulty curves they have. I just found the games boring.

I definitely appreciate and respect them for how they modernized the old school way of level design and enemy placements that Konami and Capcom were so known for though.

I’d never say they’re bad games. Though I’m sure there are obviously bad “Souls-Like” titles out there. They’re just not what I look for in a game.

haha, another little detail/example here— there’s a hat that looks like what some drum majors wear—or those British guards that aren’t supposed to speak; not even sure what you call that…anyway— you can make that accessory quite large and then move it kinda inside the character’s torso…it almost looks like they are wearing a haystack or a giant piece of that shredded wheat cereal! I’m loving it. With all these shapes from the accessories… of course that brings to mind all kinds of ideas for shit and booger creatures as character creations.

…and unlike shit-stain-ass Soul Calibur 6, btw… you don’t have to wait on load times when simply moving from one customization item to the next, or changing colors or anything else.

and yeah, if they ever bring this to Switch hell YEAH I’m double-dipping.

If the speed is an issue, did you ever try Nioh?

Tbh idk as I don’t really remember. I just remember when I tried both of them I was just bored and uninterested in what was going on. I played each for I wanna say around 10 hours? Maybe a little less. Both failed to grab to me.

I did not. If it’s a genre I have no interest in I generally just ignore every title that comes out under its umbrella. I make exceptions here and there, more so lately than a few years ago but still far and few.

It was a free PS+ Title a few months ago right? I still have PS+ for some fucking reason. So I have no reason not to try it.

Unrelated but related when I still watched GameGrumps I really liked how BloodBorne seemed to play. It came across as much faster and much more aggressive than most “Souls-Like” games I had seen in some form. I also liked the weird hell-ish landscape European setting. I wanted to try it but I never got around to it for whatever reason.

I think BB was also a PS+ title at one point too. It just doesn’t come with the DLC.
