Unfortunately for you this example is a matter of fact as opposed to opinion. If you can’t realize it then you have my condolences.
Wow you don’t know what the word fact means either?
Damn.
For those of you who have Genesis/Mega Drive minis:
Just did this last night. It’s brain dead easy. It’s the exact same process as Hakchi on the NESMini.
I’m thinking of heading to Target and picking up a Genesis Mini today and giving this a shot. Trying to decide between picking up one of these later or getting another set of Switch Joycons for when my grandson comes to visit.
The hack is super easy. Won’t take more then 10 minutes to set it up. The hard part is a roms archive. With Emuparadise basically dead it’s hard to find a good archive that isn’t virus infested or something.
You can PM on that one if you need.
I’ll keep it in mind. Debating right now whether or not to pull the trigger on the DxM Split Pads for my Switch, since Arcade Shock sells them; and it’s $3 shipping to here.
LMAO, so i take you dont know that Playmore was compromised by basically everyone from SNK after SNK went bankrupt.
Playmore was SNK in all but name.
SNK games have always been a mixed bag.
Full of meh games, some truly bad games, and some gems.
The same as playmore.
The reason why KOFXIV looks bad is because SNK by that point didnt have anyone with expertise in 3d games.
It was the 1st attempt for most if not all of the people involved (with most of the devs being from the old school 2d days.), also, the game was made in an inhouse engine they developed explicitly for the game.
With Samsho, they now have more people with knowledge about 3d games, plus they did it using UE4.
Add that they went with a more stylized art style for the game, which helps mitigate any problem with the presentation of the game.
To be fair, that stage doesnt hold the candle to the one that NeverHadAMind posted.
The amount of details on the snk stage made it more dynamic and interesting to watch , IMO
Only superb looking KOF game I remember is XIII.
I was gonna say Mark of the Wolves looked superb but that isnt really a KOF game (technically FF IS the Kof tho) , so I guess your point stands.
I do wish they got more mileage out of that Kof 13 graphical style tho before they jumped to 3D
After I told my wife I was looking at getting a light gun cabinet she was like “You should get a driving game cause [our son] like those!” Keep in mind our son is turning 5 in March lol.
But if I get one, then I have to get 2.
Wondering how to convince her to purchase these 2 Rush 2049’s SE from a guy locally. Need to make some kind of cutout though to see exactly how much floor space that is going to take up.
Moving those cabinets around in any regard is such a massive pain in the asshole. Even the normal fighting game ones. I can’t imagine having to pick that thing up.
XIII is also my favorite graphically. They made Idol Athena and Yuri (my favorite SNK waifus) look sooooo freaking cute.
The Neo Geo hardware is a contemporary of the NES and Turbo Graphix, they basically just kept increasing the memory with each game which is why the carts for the home system are crazy expensive. Getting what they did out of that system were damn near miracles.
My KI2 cabinet wasn’t that tough to move around and get into my basement. I pulled the monitor out and took the control panel off to help with the weight and width. The whole cabinet is listed as 400lbs on the flyer for the game.
Those cabinets come in half too. The seat part comes off of the main cabinet. If I do get em, I plan on taking the blue plastic part and taking the monitor out, for size and weight reasons.
