I was thinking about picking up the Final Fantasy Theatrhythm games again since you can pick them up new on eBay for about $10usd each.

The New 3DS one is even worse imo. Itâs not even analog, itâs just a small knub that you can lean in different directions. Some of the shittiest kinetic feedback Iâve ever felt on a controller.

Just to be on the safe side, use afterburner or something to keep an eye on those CPU temps. Your model will normally run pretty hot, just want to make sure itâs not too hot without whatever that 570 board uses the other 4 pin for.
After lots of research, Iâve picked up the complete edition of XCOM 2. The more I looked into what it actually is, the more I want to play it.
Probably gonna finish Shenmue tonight, then start this alongside Shenmue 2.

Everything is fine on the CPU front so far. After a 20 minute session of T7 on full baja blast settings(which looks amazing btw, just like it does on my buddies 2000 dollar rig) the GPU starts to make a rattling noise followed by an FPS drop.
The rattle scared the fuck out of me, I thought a wire got caught in one of the fans or something(wire management doesnât exist right now, not until tomorrow or Friday when I pop in my old HDDâs) but it just seems to be GPU shitting on itself once it starts to work hard, which my old PC was never able to do since it was bottlenecked by my older processor.
Pretty shitty, I might need to a buy a budget GPU to replace it for now instead of opting for a 5700XT like I originally wanted to in a few months. Iâm not sure whatâs up, one of the fans might be shitting itself. Vintage 7970.
Once I stop playing T7 for a bit the noise disappears.

Shenmue 2 was a rocky start for me. I stumbled through it, and still do sort of, in comparison to my first time playing Shenmue on DC back in the day, haha. I felt lost and confused in the first few hours, which Iâm sure is the intent.
I think Iâm inching towards the middle part, and itâs been a lot more enjoyable, but it took more time to âget intoâ. Iâm in Switch mode right now with SMM2, MK8 D and DXM however, so I hope to get back to it sometime in January?

I have been seeing a lot of new players lately on the game, which is easily to notice by how easy i outrun them and lap them since none of them, use the mechanics of the game.
Suposedly there is a skill matchmaking in place to avoid mid to upper level players destroying newbies, but who knows.

Had a sick match against this Leroy player. It went down to the wire, I hit him with a full combo into a demon and we were both 1 poke away from death. I dash up after the demon, jab SRK FADC for the swahili +frames into a low mk into Tatsu for the win. He left immediately after that, 2-1. 
I had a nice set with a Dragunov player. We were both 1 poke away from death. I backdash right as he does his Rage Drive, it whiffs, I whiff punish it. Felt so good man, I screamed like a bitch.
GPU is dying I believe. If I turn down the settings the fans donât kick up and it doesnât rattle/whine, but I still get these weird stutters even though it says in the top left Iâm sitting @ 60 FPS. It could be related to the lack of the extra 4-pin in the MOBO, but I donât think so, since this PSU is officially supported by this specific MOBO. It should have more than enough juice.
Iâm going to try to buy one of these ASAP. Itâs actually still quite a capable card and I can hold off on upgrading for a while if I pick one up:

Check the used market in your area if you need a GPU to hold you over. Lots of people upgrade frequently, so there are good deals to be had.

I think he should hold off. The RX 5500 series launches today. Its supposed to have RX 580 level performance. Depending on price, he can snag one of those or go for a RX 580 afterwards because there will surely be price reductions.

Yeah Iâd look for a deal on an RX580 or RX590. The 8GB 5500XT is $200. Card should have been $170 IMO. Seems like they are pricing it to clear out all their RX580/590 inventory.
