Video Game General 6.5: Now with more surprise mechanics

I was more referring to garbage-tier gameplay and polish like Tekken Revolution, but there is that parallel too.

It literally says Tekken 7. Sorry.

How is the gameplay “Pay to win”? If I swipe my credit card does the opponents health go down?

So there is no pay to play mechanics and you’re saying dumb shit, gotcha

it was a reference to phased out “free to play” garbage but spin it whichever way makes you happy.

Ahh man…guess its that time for everyone to be confused by NYM’s crazy reasons for his hate of T7 again.

I mean you spun the shit out of it, so I guess turn about is fair play.

Tons of sorcs and pallys right now cuz everyone needs a MF char lol.

On the contrary, I keep it real and do not follow the herd unless it suits me.

The problem with that is you would have to kick Pikachu out with him. While it is posted to use a different Pikachu, it is easier just to keep Ash dumb and have him abandon his best Pokemon and start from scratch every region.

That’s not what my comment means. See now you’re twisting my words to mean what you want them to mean. You’re the spinner bro.

I’m waiting for you to show me where in Tekken 7 do you need to pay money directly out of your wallet to be able to actually play the game (ignoring season pass characters)

Saying Tekken 7 isn’t a real installment and the game having pay to mechanics are blatant lies. Keeping it real isn’t lying to yourself about a game you hate.

Edit:

I did not think I would have to clarify but Tekken 7 is the expansion of Tekken Revolution’s gameplay design as opposed to the design of Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag 2. The game is crippled mechanically and developmentally challenged with respect to the things it adds (i.e. being completely oblivious to what it screws up in the process).

I’m sure it being “mechanically crippled” (whatever that means) is why the game continues to grow year to year in terms of tournament entry numbers while everything else is seeing slow but steady drops

Being Popular/Relevant =/= Being Well Made

Tekken 7 is the Justin Beaver concert of Madison Square Garden events.

Who?

I only know he is some Canadian pipsqueak of music talents. I don’t really care enough to check whether I spelled his name correctly.

So what you’re saying is, if you don’t care for something then you don’t really follow through and inform yourself about it? For some reason, that seems really relevant to the current conversation.

Nope. Luckily for this conversation I care about Tekken. Hard to hate something unless you care about it.
