This game isn’t being supported anymore. Of course cheaters will go to town. The current lawsuit fucked this game over.

Infinite Ward never fixed the rapid cheating that went on in Modern Warfare 2 on PS3. There’s no point in playing it unless you cheat yourself

But PS3 doesn’t really count because it was free, like PC, they had no reason to care.
You can’t cheat on XBOX Live, or PS4.

They still update the game. They still maintain servers. Infact they added dedicated servers after the lawsuit got new content shut down. Game actually JUST came out on Switch. You can cheat on PC, not because the legal status of the game, but because PC is PC. You still can’t cheat on MS/SNY/NIN because they have paid ecosystems to protect.
There’s just no ‘governing body’ The reason you can’t cheat on XB1/PS4 is because they are paid. If you start having to pay for Steam online, or other launcher, people that hack online will get booted real quick. Not saying that I advocate it, it sucks paying for both PSN and XBL as it is. If they had charged for PS3 online, Sony would’ve cleaned that shit up.
But, it’s whatever, this is why the list of games I’m buying on PC are single player. Not even wasting my time. I can imagine playing Tekken or MK on PC against a character that’s +60 on block, +120 on hit, with no gravity decay for juggles. LOL.

Like Rude said, most cheaters do not want to get banned on Xbox live or PS4, mostly cause if you get banned now, if you have to pay for other subscription. Sure you can cheat on PS4 and xbox, but most people don’t want to keep paying money to make a new account. PS3 had ton of hacks for online games, making some of them unplayable like dark souls infinite hp and killing people in 1 hit.

Except you can hack current gen games and do it online. Sure you may get banned if caught or reported, but it most definitely isn’t non existent.
Basically jail break your PS4 like you would an android phone and boom you can do dumb shit like aimbot in Overwatch. Ban hammer will be hanging over your head though.

im not talking about paying for hacks, im talking about when you get banned, you have to pay money for a new account to play online. So far I haven’t ran into any hackers on PS4.
I’m saying that cost is no big deal to someone who’s willing to cheat. They know the risk going in. If the account or the console gets banned oh well. Just throw another $60 at it.

Really makes me laugh when peeps think consoles are so safe from hacking or it cost so much after you get banned. I bullshitted through so many games and accounts on PS3 and could do it easily with PS4 or Xbox if I felt like.

I remember how easy it was to compromise the leaderboards of any 360 games. The top of the boards were always a cheater. I remember how fucked ranked was in SF4 because of it.

That seems like a lot of work to make new accounts every month. Maybe its me, but I havent ran into anyone who uses hacks on ps4 yet. It would be a lot easier just to play on PC and use hacks, since you dont have to pay monthly or yearly fees.
