If Claire finally finding Chris alive after searchin since the mansion incident, taking down a major Umbrella facility in Antartica and learning Wesker survived the event of RE1 doesnât count as moving the story, i dont know what doesâŚ
I donât think it did. A few things happened but none of them terribly important or long lasting except Wesker. Otherwise it has this bizarre meandering story that mostly goes no where and accomplishes little, introduces bizarre villains (least they donât sing opera to leeches tho) and drags you to Antarctica for some kinda boring bullshit and a terrible boss fight.
So yea I guess youâre right, it does need a remake more thereâs a lot that could be improved. I wouldnt say deserves it more, but needs? Yea probably.

CV is fucking huge in scope in comparison to 3. Itd take a lot more work to remake that game. They changed the sewer section for the worse in REmake 2, and they fucked the B scenarios compared to the original as well. It wasnât an across the board improvement like the original REmake was imo, and Jay Leno ass chin Leon will always look weird to me.
