Didnāt the creator of Shenmue say he has enough material for like, 9 games in total? Probably why the games end with cliffhangers.
Iāve been seeing some gameplay of Shenmue 3 and I gotta say: as someone who has no nostalgic connection to the old games whatsoeverā¦ The game is so unapologetically Dreamcast that I have to respect it. Itās actually such a time capsule of a game that Iām really wanting to try the first two now, lol.
Itās funny. As much as I hate the tedium of playing a game like Death Stranding, the tedium of playing a Shenmue game looks fun to me. Maybe because the latter is bursting at the seams with charm.

I watched the trailer for the new Half Life game. Iām not a fan of the series but itās definitely peaked my interest as a VR game. I like VR shooters so itās on my radar.

Starting to grasp the combat in Shenmue 3 a lil bit. He can string all of his moves together dial-a-combo style. They still need to work on some things for the next installment, but Iām having a lot more fun with it once I realized the A-groove potential. Some moves have high/low crush properties too. Pretty sure thereās a counterhit state too.

Thought Iād share a little video I put together of snorkeling and diving here in Turks and Caicos. I know everyone on this board will know where the music is from.
