You don’t have to buy a game to have an opinion about it, but you do need to buy it to make definitive statements about it’s quality. I see plenty of games where I think “that doesn’t look interesting to me” and it can be for a lot of different reasons be it art, genre gameplay or whatever. You can have that opinion. The opinion you can’t have is “That game isn’t good, in fact is deffinitly bad even tho I never played it.” You can’t make that claim. You just cant. It doesn’t hold up to scrutiny. Your opinion is either half formed or second hand information. It’s unreliable in this situation because you have 0 first hand experience. Your opinion beyond subjective issues in this case…is worthless.

The only reason why i see google pushing for this for a while, outside the whole thing of trying to have a slice of the pie on the gaming industry; Is because as usual they are in for the whole data angle of it.
It is clear that they want to collect data for both their machine learning projects and to sell it.
How you play games, what games you play, howe much hours do you invest, etc.
It is the only way i see them trying to maintain the boat afloat despite not being a market for it.

Um…those movies are pretty objectively bad. Like you are correct about the special effects and filming in HD but that’s basically it. They are objectively filmed badly (bad framing, bad follow though, action can be hard to follow) and the scripts are fucking awful, not subjectively awful but legitametly bad. Badly writen, formatted. The directing is badly done. There so much wrong with the prequels on an objective level. Those movies are bad for a while ton of reason a lot objective and a lot subjective. I argued against this mentality when I said Scorcese is alright. Objectively he’s an amazing film maker Subjectively I think he’s pretty fucking over rated with long plodding boring movies that spend a great deal of time wasting mine.
I think you weren’t reading what we where saying and were seeing instead what you wanted to because we both argued that exact point multiple times. I don’t think either of us went in circles either, just dudes firing from the hip at what they think we said, or coming up with horrible examples that only help prove our position.
