Dude I grew up in a town you could throw a rock across the center of town. I know your pain.
With that said you live in the sticks bro lol.

Where that line…and the game belongs:
Criiiiinge.
Are people still saying Kojima isn’t a hack now that the game has come out?
Yep
Looks like to me Death Stranding should’ve been a 30$ title with all of the gameplay shit removed - just keep the story stuff in and you’re good to go
another great little analysis on some of the brilliance of Dead Cells, imo:
Kojima made too many good games and essentially birthed the stealth genre to be considered a hack. One (alleged) fuck up doesn’t make him a failure.
Now if his next game or 2 is then we can talk
If we want to get technical I’d say Tenchu birthed the stealth genre.
Idk, Metal Gear on NES/MSX is a title that predates Tenchu by quite a bit…
3D stealth anyway. But I see your point.
Didn’t Wolfenstein come before Metal Gear though?
Castle Wolfenstein is the OG stealth game from 1981.
1st stealth game and one of the earliest FPS games all from one series. LEGEND
512 blocking is craaaaaazy! I didn’t know that was in there.
I moved up to Clarksville with my fiance once the boy child was born and even though it’s technically a city of 250k, it still feels like the sticks compared to Nashville.
Exactly. Wolfenstein started stealth. Metal Gear 1/2 came next, then Tenchu stealth assassin, metal gear solid came next, Thief, AvP, Hitman and everything else after.
Attributing the stealth genre to Metal Gear doesn’t seem right. It was influential though.
Didnt even know about that Wolfenstein, well I learned something new today
I imagine after this game Kojima will have enough connections to start doing movies full time and leave the gaming industry behind. That’s what he’s been preparing for since MGS2 honestly.
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. A Hideo Kojima Movie
Max Payne: Skipping Current Gen. A Hideo Kojima Movie
Deadpool 3. A Hideo Kojima Movie
Kojima will hit an untapped market when it comes to films. I think he’ll do exceptionally well in the film industry.
I want the SCRAMBLE…
