Well that shotgun has the ability to change from shells to slug rounds. Not sure if. That’s what he was using but there have been some stupid long kills already recorded in game. I’ll dig one up later.
Technically the 3-5 foot range most games use for shotguns is completely inaccurate. CoD basically using real life shotguns and peeps don’t know wtf is going on.
Yeah 3-5 foot range in real life you are toast…like 1% chance of living type fucked up. There’s a billion factors that will alter the range, but a decent range estimate for a shotgun fucking you up is 40m.
No new character will be announced during Terry’s demo
Soo…high chance of showing up at the game awards then.
Same shotty with slugs…
Or nintendo is just lying. Why would they purposely spoil something?
Wow…from that distance eh?
meanwhile, The Last Night still in developmental hell.
this game is taking forever
There were a few posts I saw about Blasphemous, well; it’s getting a LRG run!
…not exactly sure what happened but in Gears 5 Horde the past 2 days, I’ve been on FIRE lately with “regular” characters (usually I just play Jack but I picked Marcus for a change to level him up a bit)…like it was a non-stop highlight reel of action; I should’ve made more clips. (heh, others in the matches might’ve been like "who is this try-hard muthafucka showing out over here…? It’s just Horde, bruh… sheeeeitttt, they can keep half-assin’ just barely getting by then; more kills and “mvp” ribbons for me …)
Feel like I’m in a gaming drought.
The only game I would be interested in right now would be COD Modern Warfare, but they fucked up so bad last year (and to be honest, every year since 2015) I’m not even giving them a chance. Not until much later at least, when I can buy the game used IF Activision hasn’t fucked things up (like they typically do).
The good games come for my system (PS4), but they take time in the oven.
Just saying depending on the shotgun and slug type, reaching 200 yards is realistic.
Peeps mad cause this is how shotguns actually work.
Yes…I want the SCRAMBLE!
Also a bunch of gaming news channels were in London over the weekend to get a hands on demo of Jedi: Fallen Order.
Seems pretty pretty good. This is kind of an abridged version of everything I’ve read/watched regarding the game. No actual story spoilers but a lot of gameplay spoilers.
Summary
Lots of wardrobe and lightsaber customization
There’s more than just combat based Force and Lightsaber abilities.
Lots of elemental (Ice, wind, fire etc) based puzzles.
Respawn apparently does a really good job with narrative character progression. You actually feel like a padawon and that you’re being hunted by the empire. They also do a great job at making you feel empowered as you unlock new force skills and light saber skills. It doesn’t feel like a paint by the numbers progression system or story
“Metroid like” exploration where you can return to planets at later dates when you have new force or lightsaber powers to access new parts of a planet.
Respawn was in CONSTANT contact with old LucasArts directors and scenario writers to make sure they got the look and feel of the Star Wars universe down. Even brought in several of them to observe and contribute.
In regarding to battles:
A lot of people said they didn’t want to give it the stigma of a “souls” game in terms of combat. Instead they used a term I kinda like which is “Combat oriented puzzles”
Some complained about having to fight with the camera when you lock-on to enemies
AI won’t wait around for “their turn” when you’re confronting multiple enemies like a lot of action games. They will all try to go ham on you at once.
There is a stamina style bar that raises as you progress and evolve more as a Jedi. (This is another “souls like” comparison they tried to acknowledge but actively avoid labeling it as such so people didn’t go in with the wrong idea)
Everything sounds awesome but I’m still going to wait until it’s actual release to decide if I’m going to get it or not.
Jedi sounds dope!
Well it finally arrived today. I put a pie to the left of it so you get a feeling for the size of the pi2jamma. I also ordered a little acrylic case for it just so it’s somewhat clean.
And here on the back of the pi2jamma is where the pi just plugs into it with the pin connector thing. And then you plug an audio cable in and it’s basically ready to go, other than getting an image ready.
Since Asgard’s Wrath hasn’t been patched yet I moved on to Moss as my main VR game. Picked it up during a Halloween sale along with Superhot. Moss ended too soon. Just when I feel the game is picking up it ends. It’s a bummer since I enjoyed all the environmental puzzles it threw at me. I really hope it gets a follow up. Time for Superhot.
Plz don’t. You guys left Rare because of M$. Don’t go back.
