Seriously though, Chel from Rising Thunder was one of my favorite fighting game character designs ever, just because she was basically the developers telling people “no, y’all gonna have to learn about zoning”.

Also, one frame links as BnBs were definitely due to an oversight in the command interpreter. Whatever it was that allowed plinking should have been patched out immediately.

Yeah, and DMC is a different game. No idea what to tell you here, every game gets its own budget. If Capcom HQ doesn’t believe in big succeses for fighting games (and considering that Sony stepped in for SFV’s initial funding it’s safe to assume they don’t), then they don’t get a DMC style budget. Or they just pan it out differently (see Pro Tour and all that).

I was referring to all the mocap they’re doing, among other things. Just looking at the intro sequences of MK11 characters almost makes you see all that money flowing out of Warner’s pockets. Meanwhile Chun-Li doesn’t even move her mouth during the startup of her Critical Art.

Didn’t know it was still UE3 but it doesn’t surprise me, the last Batman game was UE3 as well and looked phenomenal.

Had my PS4 on after watching the Sword in the Stone on Blu-ray (the DVD is superior BTW) and deiced to play some of my digital games and fired up Jamestown+ after about two years. Man, this is such a good SHMUP that needs to be on the Switch. Same with Ghost Blade HD. SHMUPs on Switch should be mandatory.

Seth was brought it in early in the project to help SF4 feel SF. He was there long enough that a character was named after him. You don’t name a character in a big game after somebody because they introduced you to SRK.
