No peripheral is worth that much money.
Depends on how much youāre planning on using it. Iāve already bought new systems just to play SF.
The idea of getting a peripheral to really enjoy myself isnt really that out of the ordinary.
As I said, āwith my income.ā For a console I can at least use it with tons of games. For a peripheral like that, there is literally only one game you can use it for. If I DID have the income to make that purchase I would, but I just canāt justify that when Iād only be able to use it with one game. Even if I put 500 hours into that game, that still doesnāt justify it for me with my current means. For those people who are going to buy a PS4 and stick specifically for that game, I get it, thatās what theyāre into and almost nothing else(/or they just have that kind of income anyway).
sheeeeit, yeah I donāt like the idea of spending a large sum of money on a peripheral that will only apply to 1 game.
well, I tried out Anthem tonight in freeplayā¦ apparently they bumped up how often titans and ursix appears in freeplayā¦ I know it was just 1 session of it but I only saw 1 titan tonight and I was in there for what seemed like a decent amount of timeā¦enough to do about 3 or 4 world events + random exploring and killing things, onā¦also only got 1 masterwork itemā¦on GM2 difficulty.
You can probably play the VOOT games just with with a pad. The peripheral is more for the hardcore types who refuse to play them on anything but twin sticks.
You definitely can, but it is definitely a worse control experience as I mentioned earlier. The analogs just arenāt as good as the joysticks since they have way too much dead space. Itās just not the same as digital inputs. Itās fine if you just plan to mess around a while though, but if youāve played twinstick even once before itās super noticeable.
aha, soooo thatās why Storm always seemed like such a low-tier piece of shit in this gameā¦ the damage reduction that is supposed to happen when Storm hovers doesnāt even work properly! (*I figured it was just destined to be bottom tier anyway though because of the inherent gameplay design there; Storm is the āwizardā of the crewā¦ a glass cannonā¦in a game where enemies on high difficulties are constantly shooting you from all directions and doing INSANE damageā¦thatās just how it goes though with games that have different characters and abilities; something is always going to be shit-tier. It is impossible to avoid that.)
Plenty of more ācolorfulā commentary about the state of the game is in here as well, of course:
Def Jam made another Def Jam: Fight for NY post on its Instagram/Twitter 12 hours ago. They also made a similar post around August of last year
Not sure if it means anything, but hopefully theyāre gauging interest
Tales from the Borderlands killed Scooter.
Tales from the Borderlands can go eat a bag of freshly severed dicks.
ā¦Yeah, still gonna go ahead and eventually buy KH III anyway, cuz a) fuck what you think and b) you aint the boss of me.
Is Days Gone supposed to be good? I feel like they hyped the shit out of that game at E3 2 or so years ago and since then Iāve hardly heard anything about it. Maybe itās just that Iām not going out of my way and over Zombies at this point, but that trailer they showed way back when looked pretty cool and like it could be a good game. I just saw itās coming out in like 2 weeks and didnāt realize it was that close.
EDIT:
Just read itās open world, nevermind. Iām out.
Totally agreed. Bought a refurbished WiiU from Nintendo primarily because of Bayonetta 2.
And there people like us who make their own.
Iād personally like to see one of those new Virtual-On sticks torn apart and dissected. Then posted in Tech Talk for great posterity.
All we really need is a PCB that supports it, and a good case. The rest is just bog standard Sanwa parts.
People make their own twin sticks?
How do they do the actual sticks?
I spent $800 just to play Killer Instinct at X1 launch and did not regret it one bit. Well I guess I do now because Keits ruined the game, but I definitely got my moneyās worth at the time.
I thought all the new characters were cool but not the first time Iāve heard this.
What he do?
I hope whatever they are working on is nothing like Icon. I am still curious about where it will take place and who will be in it. I wonder if DMX will be in this one and how much of the roster will be legacy versus new?
