Sounds like you bought it off a repo-auction.
sheeeeit, difference between Funkos and Amiibos to me---- Funkos are ugly as hell, man. I will never truly get the appeal of that trash. The only ones that look decent were the Cuphead ones, because the Funko âstyleâ is already similar to those characters anywayâŚbut now Iâve seen some true, more accurate Cuphead figures anyway so that squashes the point of the Funko versions.
Anyway, if I collect any figures, the important thing to me is that they look good, dammit. Thereâs some new figures of Thundercats, Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, etc. and other things I noticed in Gamestop latelyâŚand those look like trash too, sadlyâŚbecause they have those odd 1980s He-man proportions (in fact, I think whatever company makes thoseâthey are using the exact sculpt of the He-man line), where everyone is bow-legged for some reason and the legs are too smallâŚshit just looks stupid, man.
This is turning way off topic ⌠That being said, Iâm still trying to decide which console to buy BL3 on. I have both 4K consoles and a gaming PC.
PS4 is where everyone will be at.
Until April 2020, at the very least.
What happens in April 2020?
Yeah.
Thatâs when Epic Games Store exclusivity contract for Borderlands 3 runs out and the game can be launched on Steam.
An exclusivity contract people are taking very personal for some reason.
cheh, console side wins out once again⌠Iâm sure PC fans of the game will enjoy having to either wait 6 months on the Steam version or deal with the Epic store time-exclusive versionâŚheh, a store which from what I hear is inferior in every conceivable way to Steam.
I saw that my friend and his wife were on Borderlands Pre-Sequel earlier today but unfortunately I was already 1 foot into Dreamland at that point⌠I still have a lot to be done in that game; I never beat it on the Hard difficulty or maxed out either of the 2 characters I cared to play⌠this reminds me; another annoyance of Pre-Sequel for me is that the drop rate seems QUITE stingy in comparison to Borderlands 2âŚyouâll go a long time with weapons and gear that are barely worth a damn in that game. In fact, in my entire time playing that game⌠I think the only items I ever got that were really good was the stuff I got from that golden key chest. Most items that drop or are found in regular chests are straight up junk.
Incorrect.
Epic Store:
- Barebones (think SF1 vs Steam being CvS2)
- Heavy-handed DRM
- Spyware baked into the platform
3a. Spyware that takes full access to your PC, your personal files, etc, and stores and sells said info - They buy exclusivity to the detriment of all
In all fairness consoles are the one that started this exclusivity war. Sony and Microsoft were and still are constantly trying to get players to come to their side when it came to multi-plat games. Early access to DLC, longer beta testing, exclusive items and/or maps. Itâs still going on too. A lot of M$âs E3 conference was âplay it on Xbox firstâ or the content being debuted on M$âs conference as compared to Sonyâs.
Itâs silly and dumb but thatâs how the console market is now. The fact PC gamers have to experience now is very funny to me. Cause now you know the dumb fucking shit console players go through.
Though not not me personally. Most of the games I had mentioned that do this are yearly CoD or a 2k sports or games like Destiny or whatever. I donât play those kind of games. I buy consoles for their exclusives. Whenever I do want a Multi-plat game I just go whatever console I feel has the better version. Right now this currently applies to Switch vs. PS4. PS4 is almost always going to win out unless the game is significantly cheaper on switch. Portability just isnât a selling point to me personally.
Gearbox and other companies are out to make money. Doesnât matter whoâs. EGS supplies companies with a lot of money for those contracts.
We shall see how much it matters in the long run.
They already have 100% lost a PC sale to me (I flat out wont buy it on PC, now) and that fact has me at 50/50 as to whether I am going to boycott the game on PS4, and all things Gearbox and 2K, in their entirety, from this point on.
Go ahead and say losing my sale doesnât matter.
Whatever.
I am cheering for the PC Pirates.
I wont be hoisting sails - never have, never will.
But I shall be rooting for those who do.
Gearbox can go eat a bag of unwashed dicks, and choke to death on the smegma.
You are being willfully obtuse.
Go read the reasons I listed.
If you say those would not pose an issue to you, then you are flatout lying.
Nah Stu, you just arenât listening. I have no stake in the conversation because I donât game on PC but itâs not like the reasons he listed are strange or hard to understand.
Iâm really not.
But your troll game is getting very stale.
Expressing displeasure at a very bad decision by a publisher, per its consumers and potential consumers is not being a hater, no matter how heavy-handed you wish to be with your shoddy Sophistry.
I am not mad at you, or at any of your witless smarm.
I have given the subject more thought.
I wont be buying Borderlands 3 on any platform, nor will I purchase anything else from Gearbox or 2K ever again.
It is no great loss to me - my backlog is already overflowing with godlike games.
And this is the last I shall ever write on the subject.
Risk of Rain 2 is a fuckinâ blast. Was suppose to play that shit with Soviet but that busta musta went to sleep. They did a great job moving it from 2D to 3D. If you liked the first one you should get this one. Its an Early Access game on Steam so its only 20 bucks right now. Well worth it.
Never said it was. Itâs just how youâre conveying it makes it seem like youâre taking it overly personal which is why Iâm poking the bear, as it were.
Thatâs good. Can we spoon later? I donât how tall you are but I enjoy being the little spoon. I k know, thatâs super âbeta-maleâ of me. Whatever that means. Itâs just comforting to me. Just throwing it out there. You can say no
I mean, this is honestly the best way to go about it is to speak with your wallet. While it might not make much of a difference in the long term in the short term you are putting your convictions about said topic in the forefront. Which is good. Itâs why I bought SFV used because I didnât want to give Capcom money but my curiously got the best me so I tried it, hated it, returned it a few days later.
Alright so Power Rangers⌠extremely fun for an old game player in a lotta ways.
But how in the ever living FUCK does a glitch that keeps you from blocking online happen? The current meta is spamming low crouch attacks, or slides, do string that has low, and free jump ins, and everyone with a modicum of skill is wasting it on Tommy cl into infinte.
We coooould be having good matches for the short time this game will live (Itâs dead at MK11 launch 100%) but you gotta spam cl, and I gotta revenge Pink Ranger slide loop you.
Iâm still not having too much of a problem, but peopleâs game plan literally revolves around the glitches. LOL. But theyâre still pretty easy to deal with.
I think people just miss playing a game that revolves around bullshit.
The problem is that itâs all online only. The whole playstyle exists because you canât block online.
I want to test shareplay to see if it actually works that way. Canât ask locals, theyâd rather âlabâ or âlevel upâ in SFV or some such, and by level up, I mean stay mediocre as fuck, and never make it out of pools at a major, ever.
