I don’t fuck with this “release now, finish later” crap that major companies like to pull. I would like for the Epic store to actually be finish before they launched it. Would you shop at a place that’s still under construction?

Seriously, all they have is the bare bone minimum to be a store.
They got a non-functioning store listing, a barely there search function, and you got a friends list.
That is it. No Cart, to places to make user feedback or reviews.
Yes Steam started bare bones as well, but Steam did things first.
Nintendo’s first eStore with the DSI shop had more functionality. I remember they had a bunch of novelty apps and One game, just one game and Nintendo back in the days of the DSi had more of a store than Epic does now. The Microsoft Windows Store is more functional than the Epic store, and everyone hates the Windows Store. EA’s Origin service is a better eStore and I have a Po level hatred for EA.

Well Fortnite technically is still no finished so it makes sense the recently released game store is not done yet.
Yeah I would have accepted GOG instead STEAM, but I draw the line at the EPIC gamestore or any game with Uplay.

GOG would be a God send.
No App required to install, and GOG by policy does not allow for any DRM at all.
So no Spyware or Broken DRM packages.

No matter how bad Epic Games Store may be, it can’t be worse than UPlay, which can prevent you from playing games you own because they happened to fuck up.

EA Origins straight up deleted my list of games from my account just because they don’t feel like continuing service to those games. I got legitimate Retail copies of games I now have to Pirate or download cracks to play. At least with Steam, even if a game got pulled from the store, you can still download and install the game. And if it’s getting pulled from the server for any reason they give you advance notice, so you can make your own backups.
And I hold Origins in a higher regard than Epic.

Uplay is just the same as Origin, just exchange EA for Ubisoft.
Both just as shit. But at least their stores are completed before opening.
Windows store is also a big crock of shit, guess what it has from day 1, a cart.

Did they fix the end section and final boss fight any? Gearbox said they did but every review video I’ve watched has said they made the end game section including the final boss actually easier than the original.
That’s my one negative about BL1. The last boss and the ending was easily the most underwhelming and unsatisfying endings in any video game I’ve played.
And for as game as good as BL1 is that shit was inexcusable to me. It made me EXTREMELY hesitant about getting BL2

The two [other] things that I really wanted fixed were the lack of a shared stash, and the downed state transitioned into a version of BL2’s fight for your life (as it is, you might as well hit square immediately).
Shopping cart is a long term goal?
Who cares about video hosting and cloud saves, The cart should of been there at day 1.

RE: 2 button grabs with whiffs.
The reason that grab whiffs suck, is because it makes the corner game in most ‘traditional’ fighters into A/B/C and only that.
If you’re the guy that just put someone in the corner:
A: crouch lights to beat throw attempt.
B: attempt tick throw
C: hit the opponent if they back/neutral jump avoid throw attempt
Even in FEXL you see a bunch of jumping to avoid telegraphed throws. Ugh.
Don’t get it twisted, I know how to play 3S, and a lot of games that I don’t agree with their mechanics, or gameplay. BUT that doesn’t mean it’s enjoyable at all. If I travel to the local fightnight, and people are playing something like 3S, I might play it because Ive already wasted my gas and time going.
Steam and EpicStore are both fucking dog shit. GOG or bust. No I don’t want to run your stupid fucking client to play MY games on MY pc. Fuck you very much.

Steam waited on the “Social media” BS, They made sure the Store worked first as a store.
Cloud Saves, Video Hosting, User Reviews, Overlay, Achievements, that all came alot later.
