That mystefies me that they wouldn’t archive that stuff at all. I guess a lot of them didn’t think they’d be porting older games in the future.
Add that as time passes the storage devices/medium get phased out and/or get damaged.
Sometimes is not that they dont want to archieve it, but that they get lost.
Also, during the years many companies get closed and their assets are either lost, or the people who buy them dont see the value on them.

Nah, UFC have like a 80/20 split. Every other major league has around a 50/50 split. Bellator, their biggest competitor has a 50/50 split. Without looking it up. I’d say she probably makes 50K to 75K a fight. Only biggest stars get decent salaries and even then it’s a fraction of what boxers get, despite the UFC being the bigger PPV business overall.

OW is one of those games that i like, but man, it gets fucking boring quite easily.
The design and balance philosophy behind it make it that it can grow stale rather quickly.
This is why i prefer Paladins over it, at least in terms of character’s abbilities design.
It is more flexible, and allows you to find other ways to play the chars.
Think of it this way, back in the day Data storage is limited and companies don’t want to spend money archiving old stuff that isn’t going to make them more money.
Extra Drives, climate controlled storage, and the such was more hassle than it was worth.
One of the few people who bothered to save anything in the video game industry was Miyamoto, he keep his sketches, graph paper drawings, overlays and such to alot of his old projects.
But in most cases those notes are thrown out.
