What an idiot. Of course using the fake “60fps” from motion interpolation on TVs will cause lag.
that literally made my brain hurt.
edit:
With every technological step forward a human somewhere takes three steps back.
Meh. Joey is a piece of shit but I think it’s a little short-sighted to see the leaks simply as a jab against him. It affects a lot more people than just Wiz.

definitely interested in this now.
I don’t see it as a jab against him. It wasn’t done to piss him off. I’m just happy it does piss him off.
Sure I feel bad for anyone else this effects (tho not really cuz it really is not a big deal to anyone but a bunch of corporate dudes who want to make money off the hype) and that sucks, but for Joey? Fuck him. I don’t feel bad for a guy who is only pissed off because it effects his bottom line. I’m not sorry for a guy who sold his community out so he could build a hot tub in his back yard the shape of the Evo logo. I’m just fucking not. I’m glad it went south for him. Sucks for the people caught in the crossfire, but then the breaks dude. Its not even really a big blow to anyone but Joey and maybe the guy who uploaded it early. People who where gonna buy the characters are still gonna buy em. This is only a legit blow to Evo which should be about the players imo anyway. Not an advert venue for selling me more shit. This is a very minor setback to Capcom at best.
That reminds me of this one line from this Thai drama my wife is watching.
“You should learn to control the difference between hope and expectation.”
That said, I agree absolutely. People would get mad with no one to blame but themselves, but I still kinda want it to be true.
Bunch of Fighting Games on Steam which you can test out for free from today on for the next 3 days during EVO. Link shows a Price but there is a F2P Option on the Store Page.

Yeah. Wiz can EAD. And it leaking doesn’t really hurt anyone. It just ruins the surprise. Like Radiant said. Everyone who was going to buy them are still going to buy them.
No one is going to get paid less because of the leak. No one is going to get fired. I doubt they’re going to lose any monetization from it leaking early…etc.
Is it disappointing your surprise got spoiled? Sure. Does it actually effect anything though? No.
Yeah honestly with E3 dying it’s about time that EVO stops being treated as a second E3 for FG Developers.
Anything that is a PC Epic Store Exclusive is just getting ignored for me, even if they have a console version.
I can understand why Wiz is mad. Takes time and effort to put these events together so when something like this happens it puts a damper on that. We don’t even know what kind of deals had to be made to get Capcom to have this reveal happen at Evo but whatever the deal was just went into the toilet.
I acquired the original on Steam for less than $10 and do not think it has aged all that badly. So why get the remaster at all?
I missed out on the original.
So…
I get why wiz is mad. I just don’t care that he’s mad.
First they bought timed exclusives, then they bought developers and killed them. Then they bought more developers. And now they buy streamers
Ninja leaves Twitch to stream exclusively on Mixer
https://twitter.com/Ninja/status/1156970023421915136
The reason this comes as such a shock is because Ninja is easily the most popular streamer on Twitch. He has amassed nearly 15 million followers (although that number is dropping in response to today’s news). That’s more than double the count of Shroud, Twitch’s second most popular streamer, who has 6.7 million followers. Ninja was king on Twitch and it wasn’t really close.
In a statement to Polygon, Twitch said “We’ve loved watching Ninja on Twitch over the years and are proud of all that he’s accomplished for himself and his family, and the gaming community. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.” However, as PC Gamer noted, it didn’t take Twitch very long at all to remove Ninja’s verified partner checkmark. Despite the well-meaning public statement, it’s easy to see why Twitch might feel scorned.

I only watch NLBC on Twitch so…
He’s a top player in Fortnite. EA paid the guy a $1 million to play Apex on his stream.
sheeeiiiitttttt, DEVIL HUNT immediately caught my attention for sure. Basically it might just be a guaranteed day 1 for me just based on that little bit I’ve seen. There’s not enough “stylish action” games out there, imo…there is no such thing as “too much” of that as far as I’m concerned…give that shit to me all day every day, injected right into my veins like the sweetest drugs.
You gonna scoop Astral Chain?
