Video Game General 6.4: New Halo? What else?

That’s exactly why I don’t buy Bethesda dev’d games lol

I doubt they’ll ever make a game I would be interested in.

Fallout New Vegas is one of my favorite games ever but, I can’t fault people for not wanting to play through the jank bullshit that comes with those games to get to the good. Lol.

New Vegas was developed by Obsidian though, not Bethesda themselves.

Bethesda developed games are only worth playing with mods that fixes the problems and add things to make the experience better.

I like all the games post Fallout 2 and pre 76. New Vegas is just my favorite. I always forget that game was made by a different team tho.

Definitely picking up classic Doom for my Switch. Now if I can get Quake then I’m set!

it’s quite frustrating when a game is almost what I want, but still misses the mark in some critical way… I just notice “Chroma Squad” is on the Switch eShop now…I’ve always wanted a PR/Super Sentai game like that…BUT I remember the gameplay is a “tactical rpg” kinda thing, which just kills it for me. Nah, I can’t get over that 1 thing.

…which oddly enough brings me back around to Bethesda and Elder Scrolls— quite a shame I have no choice but to give up on that franchise…but I can’t tolerate the general shittiness of those things they pass off as “games” anymore. I absolutely loved everything about TES V: Skyrim…but the technical problems just continually shit on your fun way too damn much. If it weren’t for that, Skyrim might’ve been my #1 rpg of all time for quite a while at least. I know other games don’t have quite the same amount of world/character detail going on in them, but compare it to ANYTHING else on the market…in other games you might go 1000 hours of playtime before experiencing a crash or some major glitch.

Actually there is 1 non-technical thing that irked me though…the issue with vampirism and feeding making you weaker instead of stronger. I get the general idea there, but I just don’t like it…I certainly wouldn’t write vampirism to work that way…and in just about every other lore I’ve seen, vamps are portrayed to be much more powerful when they are well-fed.

Boss: well just so you know im gonna attack twice a turn not counting these 3 time release attacks im gonna set off in-between your characters turns and im gonna cast regen when my heath gets low have fun with this shit!

Top five best Kirby game even to this day.

If you like New Vegas you should have your eyes glued to Outer Worlds. You also owe it to yourself to check out Alpha Protocal.

I’ve never played any Fallout game. What would you guys say is the best one?

Mash up of Super SF2 music. CPS2 and SNES.

Sounds good. Which is surprising, because I hate the SNES version of Guiles theme for SSF2. The guitar is way too harsh. Also the main riff sample for Ken’s theme on SNES SSF2, closely matches the CPS2 version of Guile theme guitar.

Also CPS2 Guile is definitely top 3 in game music. Top in FG music.

Legacy chars best themes (Only official):

Ryu: Alpha 1 Arranged
Ken: Alpha 1 Arranged
Chun Li: XvsSF
Guile: SSF2 CPS2
E.Honda: SF2 SNES
Blanka: SSF2 3DO
Dhalsim: SF Tribute Album
Zangief: MVC1
Balrog: SSF2 PC
Vega: SF Movie Game (console Ver)
Sagat: SF2 CPS1
Bison: MSHvsSF
DeeJay: SSF2T HDR
FeiLong: SSF2 SNES JP
T.Hawk: SSF2 SNES US
Cammy: SSF2 CPS2
Akuma: XvSF

Fallout 2, but it’s way different from modern Fallout.

Yeah that guy is getting scrubbed from 3 houses in a patch

Also the mandatory login for Doom is apparently a mistake and its going to be removed in a patch

I’m here at Quakecon … Now for the good news. There is a Doom Eternal booth here, but they’re not letting people play. Everything sans titles under development is here. Photodump will happen prob tomorrow.

I say Fallout 2 if you like isometric perspective PC mouse point and click turn based RPGs

If you prefer FPS 3, 4 and New Vegas

All 3 have huge modding scenes
