Yeah I was grinding to unlock my first costume on Friday. I got Black Widow’s…it was just a recolor. Just beat the game. Damn this was good time. I’ll probably just grind some other heroes until Fire Emblem gets here.
In the 3DS Store if it says “New 3DS” next to the game that means my XL can’t play it huh?

Correct. It specifically has to be the “New” 3DS. There aren’t many titles specific to the “New” model though. The SNES virtual console being “locked” behind that model is a huge bummer though.

not yet, but Nightcrawler is one of my favorites; it was tempting to put him in my squad when he showed up… my next team will definitely be him, Wolverine and perhaps Storm with whoever as the 4th spot
…hmm…I just went into one of the Infinity zones with Hulk + Storm, Nightcrawler and Wolverine…ohhh yeah I like what I see so far. There was so much chaos going on though it was hard to even make sense of it…but yeah some variation of that will be my 2nd team, most likely after I finish this first run of the story.
I’m really looking forward to those dlc characters though.
I’d love to see other things done in this style…though I know it will never happen— like “Jump Force Ultimate Alliance” and “DC Ultimate Alliance”.

I ran Psylocke, Wolvering,Black Panther, and Storm as soon as they all came available. It was easy for me to spam synergy attacks with Psylocke and Storm.

So yeah like hacked 3DS handhelds don’t have the power to run alot of stuff the ‘New’ 3DS can.
Like the 3DS struggles with Snes emulation when the N3DS runs it in VC just fine
Just unlocked Wasp and damn she pairs well with a lot of people.

Not well. The tournament used cabs for Super Turbo and I’m a pad player. I didn’t stand a chance.

They were hemorrhaging money and their stocks dropped during its 4 year life cycle, sure. But they were absolutely no where near bankrupt.
Even if they got even remotely close to bankruptcy they have a war chest full of priceless IP’s they could have loaned out to other companies.

I think new 3DS is a worst name. “New 3DS” doesn’t sound like a new iteration of a product to me. They took a common phrase and decided that’s going to be the name. That must be hella confusing for a costumer who say, went to a GameStop to buy one.

Lets not exaggerate fam. The only one close to bankruptcy was Sony. They were literly selling off properties for liquidity. The PS4 saved their ass.

As someone who worked at GameStop at the time of its release it honestly wasn’t that big of a hurdle to get over. It boiled down to “do you want the 3DS or New 3DS” if someone asked to elaborate further (usually a parent) it was as simple as “the “New” model is more powerful”
The only time it was “hard” to convey the difference was when we had to pitch preorders for it over the phone.
