The game is bad when it comes to it’s DLC. Got $600 worth of costumes and Mai being DLC again after being DLC in the last game is some bullshit.

DOA5 was bad when it comes to DLC as well. I, and I think @NeverYouMind , was refering to gameplay mechanics though. Titties are what sell the DLC. And people can’t see pass them to notice the fighting engine.

doa6 has a bunch of reason’s it’s in the position it’s in. the mixed messaging from tecmo us vs japan, launching without specific features, dlc in the last game is dlc again. the game itself is incredibly solid but somethings off about it like it was rushed out because of the temptation of esports.

Wtf is Sol Seraph and why does it look like a mobile game.

Almost got hype for a new Sega IP.

Game is ugly af.

Looks like some ghetto attempt to make an Actraiser game.

Well Square Enix is doing fuck all with the IP. I’ll give Hood Raiser a shot.

Thanks for this post. I wanted to play this back when I didn’t have a job or a computer powerful enough. Now that it’s Runescape-tier, I finally have the chance.

Ugh…I want this so bad. It has Motor Raid as one of the playable arcade games. It’s a Model 1 combat racer, set in the future, that’s only been released in the arcades. It’s one of the main reasons I want to be in on this release.

I’m hoping Sega keeps doing this in Shin Yakuza as way to release there arcade only titles, if it’s the only option.

yeah, there’s little to no chance of Actraiser ever being a thing again, so SolSeraph definitely caught my attention…and hell yeahhhh it’s on Switch too…sheeeeeittttt.

After those godly stats in Dead Cells the other day, I ended up getting caught up by a regular enemy in the castle!! Such crushing disappointment there…I was able to make a comeback though.
The invisible knife-thrower enemies make the curse chests a REALLY hard sell though…I’ve taken up a new tactic now of scouting ahead and purposely not killing the easier enemies if possible, so that if there’s a cursed chest, I can more confidently get it and run back to kill those easy chumps from earlier in the stage…yeah that will be my gameplan from now on… Ooh…the ultimate would be if you could already have an invisibility amulet on when doing this; you could sneak past everything that’s easy to kill, activate the curse chest then go back to kill them…amulets with the invisibility seem to be rare though. ah, but do I really want to remove the juicy tension though??? ha, curse chests are the path to true power though, man… and that tension of being in a 1-hit = death status is oddly enough part of the fun.

There’s also a ā€œCursed Objectā€ I didn’t even know was in the game until a few days ago; forgot if I was on Hard or Very Hard when seeing it… but it’s the classic case of tempting the player with his/her own greed… the thing I found was worth 15,000+ Gold! …but at the cost of being cursed if you pick it up. I couldn’t resist…and later that curse cost me the whole run.

SolSeraph’s developer has made some really unique and fun experiments in the past. Their games look a bit rough around the edges but it’s definitely worth looking into them. It’s too bad that demos died with the 360 because it’s the trial versions of Zeno Clash and Rock of Ages that won me over. Definitely going to pick up SolSeraph at some point.

I think I may actually check this one out…

Think I’ll cancel my Code Vein preorder and just get that instead, lol.
