sheeeeeit, that Star Wars game is looking quite alright to me. It’s already looking like a day-1 buy …unless we find out the usual bullshit like “LOL ONLINE ONLY” or whatever cocked up foolishness they might try to sabotage their own shit.

Dead Cells…
sheeeeit, I remember thinking “Wave of Denial” wasn’t shit when I was starting out in this game, now it’s one of my top picks every time… the force also knocks bombs away from you. It’s also good to get some super-cheap kills by forcing enemies off edges, essentially being a 1-hit kill on them that way…then there’s the fact that it stuns them, guaranteeing you an easy follow-up with whatever…this is on top of the little bonus damage if you blast them into a wall…all this from 1 ability and it’s always on a VERY short cool-down. This is delicious, as Bison would say.
Well, later today, the real E3 begins. It’s sad to see such a fall from grace though. It wasn’t that long ago that E3 was something I would’ve considered taking a few days off work for, just to catch everything live…now with an increasing # of companies dropping out of it, the show is reaching the point of being irrelevant.

all this time playing Dead Cells…I actually forgot about the “Daily Challenge” mode! I was checking the wiki recently and noticed some of the weapons and gear I’ve been missing out on are unlocked by doing those…

I remember E3 being hype too. I still have memories of how on fire the internet was E3 2013 when Sony basically won this generation just by saying they wouldn’t do the stupid shit MS was doing. Nowadays I guess companies feel they can release their own trailers at their own pace and don’t feel the need to bother. Hell, some hold their own conferences/events (like Mortal Kombat 11’s reveal). Seems like if you’ve got enough buzz and clout to spread the word about your game yourself, E3 isn’t necessary.

There is some consolation in that they did not choose lame ass idol besmirching a Greek goddess’ name, strawweight sumo wrestler girl, ball boy, or retard idol instead.
Mai is part of KOF as well…more recognizable from that series.
They weren’t wrong.
