I keep forgetting that this game is a thing/was already announced for some reason
I never finished the first Nioh. I need to get back on it eventually.
I find it wild that Aetreno Blade is even getting a sequel. The first one was soooooo fucking awful.
I love the Witcher 3 man. Despite not finishing it cause Iām already 100 hours in and with no end in sightā¦
Edit: damn. It was just available 15 minutes ago.
Persona 5 uses a cel-shaded art style that lets it run on PS3, and doesnāt have an open world.
Witcher 3 comes close, but a lot of the side missions are cut from the same template just mixed around.
One thing FF7, and a lot of older JPRGs had was a lot of unique systems and mini-games built just for specific parts that ran on their own separate mechanics, not tied to the games base mechanics (e.g. Gold Saucer, the RTS minigame, etc.). It was much easier, and cheaper to do such things back in the day.
Some SJWs are already complaining about FF7 remake. Since it had a lot of ācontroversialā scenes. I hope S-E just do their job and keep the integrity of the game.
I agree but I also would guess the episodic nature will in part be about them getting a portion of the game out the door. The fact is outside of Dragon Quest in Japan, Square Enix needs big hits. They spend a lot on the FF games to make them cutting edge, plus they have other titles which not all do well and that bleed into overall costs. So having two or three FF7 remake games that could sell millions even if not at full $60 price would help set them up with a win for the years the episodes drop.
Just make 7R 3-Parts if they want to go that way. Each original disk being a different part in the remake. Just add a SHIT TON of new content to make it worth it.
squee even said in the remake the planned on expanding the world, the history of the main characters and the general lore.
Just seems like the obvious thing to do.
Thatās one way to do an alpha test. Itās closed but you canāt sign up, itās (probably) not for pre-orders, and weāre not gonna tell you what are the requirements to be selected
the games that need a remake arenāt popular enough to get one. final fantasy 7 is fine but 8 is the one that would benefit from somebody going in and fixing that shitshow of a story and leveling system same thing with code veronica. also i would take an legend of dragoon remake with expanded combat system and maybe romance options cause the main chick in that game was so generic even the main character was cool on her and the other pary members were like come on sheās not that bad.
FF6 would be an awesome remake. Get rid of random battles, or at least implement a system like Bravely Default had where you can control the frequency. I say keep the sprites, maybe do it like Octopath Traveler. Include some cut scenes maybe. Shit would be dope.
I donāt see the point in making a remake to have it only look like Octopath. Meh
Lol, they canāt even find the original source code for 8.
For real? I love that style. I would change the sprites to have finer detail though.
The style is nice but I donāt think it would be a radical change. I usually want that for a remake.
Gotcha. Iād be happy with a re-release where they change random battles. To me, thatās the gameās biggest (only) flaw and what prevents me from playing it over and over again.
I still have nightmares from Phoenix Cave ugh
Someone posted about a an MMO or WRPG that is similar to Black Desert coming soonish and for free to consoles? What was that again?
