ah, probably a more interesting vid (more and more Code Vein vids are popping up today, I see)… customization:
Ok yeah…this guy does a WAY better job of explaining things… (compared to the Game Informer guy that sounded like he must’ve been only half-way paying attention when he played the demo)
I agree to an extent. I have no issues with people wanting to continue to support a game that was a few bucks or under. When it’s like…a full priced mobile game (usually $15-20) than yeah, then it’s an issue. But if it’s like $5 and under and happens to have MXT? Meh.
Everybody Golf VR demo is out on PSVR. As much as I hated the recent release, the demo is pretty damn neat. Kinda gimmicky but it’s still fucking cool.
I hated HATED Everybody Golf on PS4. Hot Shots Golf 5 Out of Bounds is one of my all time favorite games too, and I just hated what they did to the series in Everybody Golf. But that is a topic for another discussion.
Anyways, the VR is pretty damn neat. I am on the fence about picking it up now but we will see. It is kind of gimmicky and trying to hit the ball like a real club is a lot harder when you don’t have any real feel to it. It’s much easier to swing one handed, and even easier to just flick your damn wrist, which kind of takes away from it a little bit. But it’s still neat.
I don’t know if it’s a bug or because it’s the demo, but when I go to play in the course, and go to address the ball, it gives me a confirmation dialog to go back to reception. When you look at the help and the Move controller in game, it says that it should address the ball. So I don’t know if they simply aren’t allowing you to play any real holes in the demo or if it’s buggy. I tried it twice and both times is started on a hole middle of the round and a par 3 hole, but I couldn’t do anything. The only place I could hit was the driving range.
A perfect John Wick game would be Max Payne 3 on crack. That’s it. That’s all you need to do. Make a 60 FPS Third-person shooter inspired by Max Payne with some slick level design and some wacky set pieces and you have a 90+ Metacritic game right there.
Dog assist would be cool ALA the Dead to Rights game last-gen that I don’t think many people played. It was a solid TPS.
I was at a Gamestop earlier today and noticed the physical version of Dragon Marked for Death is out already… funny thing is that I will most likely buy it again at some point and delete the digital shit, simply because I still prefer to have my games that way. (you also get all the characters if you buy the physical version, of course) I looked up the section where you see file sizes on your games and unfortunately this would only free up a measly 614 mb though.
I don’t think anyone other than Tecmo with Nioh and FromSoft themselves can pull it off. Lords of the Fallen was ehh, and The Surge is just OK. They’re missing a lot of charm and soul that the Souls series has.
Here’s hoping Code Vein doesn’t suck. Nioh 2 is guaranteed to be good. Team Ninja MANG
PS5’s SSD will make loading screens a thing of the past
I highly doubt this…shorter? Yeah but you guys keep putting more shit in games uncompressed that prob within 3 years of the next cycle the loading screens will be back to normal.
Looks like Biomutant and Darksiders II may be heading to Switch
Nintendo says it wants to keep up with cloud gaming
Today was the last day for Switch version of “X-Morph” being on sale on the eShop so I got it… main version was 15 and the one that comes with all dlc was around 20 bucks so I got that complete edition of course. It’s that game where you are the hostile aliens invading Earth:
Nintendo likes to sit on stuff until they think they are ready and they feel its actually beneficial to them…usually anyway. Don’t want to pull a M$ and say how great the cloud is gonna be and how it sacrificed itself for our sins and then do much of meh with it.
