it’s too damn good… I’m back and forth between the Switch and XB1 versions of Cuphead at this point…obsessed.
I beat that Bluto-looking pirate; I think the name is Captain Brineybeard… this is another one that was surprisingly not that tough. The main problems in the fight with him is the damn boat cannonball spit attack, and the occasional shark he calls to get you from the left side of the screen.
The dash continues to be probably the most valuable item, I think…you absolutely need that brief moment of invincibility to get out of bad situations… currently I have that, the Lobber and the green homing shot as my usual setup.
I doubt it. Sony doesn’t like playing with others. Nintendo was actually the one who approached Microsoft about collaborating on a few projects and bringing exclusives over to the switch. Which honestly is kinda of unheard of since Nintendo use to be how Sony is now.

I agree with you. People forget that last gen Sony wanted crossplay and Microsoft was the roadblock. A dominant first place tends to breed arrogance. See the N64 and PS3 for examples. Hell you can go back to Atari thumbing their nose at distributing the NES as well.
That said, Sony’s censorship policies are a direct result of them moving their headquarters to California. Their shenanigans with censorship is leaving them wide open to lose a lot of the niche Japanese developers. You can already see them shifting over to Switch. Big Japanese 3rd Parties may be more open to working out deals with MS if they keep this shit up.
I think this is the only forum I’ve seen where more than one member likes V. I really like his playstyle and can’t wait get good with him. I have all his moves unlocked so it’s just a matter of putting in the time…which I’m currently putting in to my backlog.
Got to the first boss(?) in Hollow Knight (False Knight) and keep fucking up at the third form. Putting it down for now as I want to get through Mega Man 11’s initial playthrough since I bought that first.
Currently getting bopped in Block Man’s stage. I thought I had more bosses beat, but it’s only Bomb Man that I’ve beaten.
Coming to the hard decision that I’ll wait for Cuphead physical since I also want to finish Shenmue 2 with enough downtime before Shenmue 3, and with Summer’s packed schedule it’s for the better. I might have to put @Million-X’s post on ignore for now lol.

You are looking at the wrong territory. Big Japanese developers are concerned with the West. That is where they sell the majority of their software. Nice Japanese developers are most concerned with Japanese software sales.
Dat Second Round. I got bopped the match before this, since I haven’t fought the character yet, but I was able to set up things how I wanted to. Very surprised it all worked out.
A look back on one particular bit of greatness from the previous era:
sheeeeeit, it was some of THE best co-op gaming action I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing, man…soooo good. We never beat either game on “Realism” though, sadly.
the music was great too… I still have many of the tracks on my ipod in regular rotation to this day… the game had so many great moments, there’s certain things I remember just by hearing those tracks again…like that one time when I was the last one out making my escape…my character limping along the long walk towards the boat… on literally 1 hp.
I’ve only fought her twice so far. So I was expecting cheap shit when I first went in like final form Shinnok from X but then she whipped out the fucking full screen unblockable T-rex and I got dumbfounded. My wife was laughing at my reaction when it happened.
Ok, the goddamn Cala Maria bitch is BULLSHIT, man… I’ve seen a vid where people say you just get close to her face to avoid the petrification gaze, but it still hits me anyway…and of course if you get too close you take damage for touching the boss from what I’ve seen. That 2nd phase isn’t even really tough anyway if you didn’t use special earlier, because a few shots + the full special absolutely destroys it (if you don’t have 4 hp powerup because that drops your damage output)…the real problem is the first phase. So far it seems nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get past it without getting hit. If you did you fucking got lucky, like she threw out the electrified fish early with nothing else going on at the same time. The ghosts + the sea urchins coming up = guaranteed goddamn damage, unless you use up the full special that you NEED for that 2nd phase…so every time for the 3rd phase I always only have 1 hp left…always…2 hp if I got lucky.
edit—holy shit and it just happened… I got lucky and made it to last form with 2 HP - VICTORY, bitch! Hell yeah.
