Four or so hits away from beating Gehrman. I throw oil urn at him while he charges up for third phase(?), the second time he 'bursts, I equip last fire paper to put an end to him.
I was sure I was far away enough, but apparently not. My whole health bar, donzos…seriously…
I wanna trade this game in, despite buying the DLC, but something tells me I’ll regret it. I’d be trading it in for Sekiro.
I’ve been having a shitload of fun playing FEXL again. Some of my matches got recorded earlier by a FEXL streamer. Can see some Kairi VS Terry action @ 1:12 and I think a few more matches throughout the stream:
That Streets of Rage 4 trailer was cool. I hope Capcom is doing something with Final Fighter. Hopefully not with the crappy graphics they used for the latest Stryder game.
Sekiro is baren, hollow, tedious to navigate, and test your patience at every step. Devil May Cry is colorful, exciting, straight forward, and filled with fun. It is an easy choice.
P.S. This new Streets of Rage looks fun as hell. It looks polished, though the comic book inspired art style is not a great fit for Streets of Rage.
He knows exactly what he’s doing by making blanket statements about a hot game people here have been giving a lot of praise to. Just ignore him and move on.
Edit: see look right now. Already writing his shitty response
Honestly I owe NYM an apology. I simply jumped on the hate train, but i just fired the game up to double check and he is right, getting around in the world is such a pain in the ass in this game. I mean look at this shit. I just recorded it and Its a perfect example of the empty lifeless world and extremely tedious world navigation this game has.
This video is only of the very first real area and only shows off the first ninja tool, the expected one, so there are no spoilers in this video.
I present to you tedious and difficult to navigate.
Yeah, that looks boring as hell, and no fun to play. In fact, the only game I can think of offhand that could be any less fun to navigate is probably Spider-Man for PS4.
There is not much you can do to reinvent the beat-em-up genre. No matter how much pizzazz you put into it, the style gets redundant and repetitive after a while.
I’m pretty fine with Final Fight being in the dead state that it is right now, and after Streetwise…yeah, let it stay that way.
