There is nothing to understand, they are simpletons, morons.
They never said Steam.
Only PC.
You can go and check, they never specified a storefront, everyone just assumed steam since it was the defacto store at the time.
The tenth?? Damn!
I just posted the patch notes in the Tekken thread but I didn’t see the release date. That’s fucking sick. This month is gonna be too stacked.
Here’s the patch notes if anyone’s wanting to take a look:
Edit: Wait, your link says the tenth and mine says tommorow… Wtf…
Fair enough. I fixed it, regardless.
Thanks for the correction
Info about Overwatch on Switch from their Communication Manager

There will also be no cross-play and won’t be able to access content from your profile on other consoles
Cross-play won’t be available at launch. Blizzard sent the following statement to Engadget regarding cross-platform capabilities: “We’ve seen how compelling cross-system play can be for our community, and we’re excited about the potential. There’s still a lot of work to do on both our side and the platforms’ side to determine whether this is something that makes sense for Overwatch , and we’re keeping an eye on how cross-play systems and technology develop.”
So, for the foreseeable future, it seems you won’t be able to access skins, voice lines and sprays you’ve earned on PS4, Xbox One or PC when you play on Switch. Still, Switch owners will finally be able to find out for themselves what all the fuss is about with this game next month.

30fps on for a competitive shooter? Why even bother?
I edited my post. It gets better lol
It pains me to see how most devs aim for mediocrety.
30fps, 7 to 8 frames of input lag.
There is nothing of value for those who already own the game in other platforms.
Is simply an inferior product.
Having no crossplay is a mercy. There’s no fucking way a Switch player can compete against players on other platforms with that piss poor frame rate.
I totally agree.
Which is why i didnt even consider the lack of crossplay as a problem.
But everything else?
LMAO.
TBH, i didnt even remember that OW has crossplay.
Even with all the negatives I still think Overwatch will still sell “fine” on the switch. A lot of kids watch Overwatch streams and tournaments but have never played it for whatever reason. So the Switch version might be a good jumping off point.
Just like how Fortnite has done so well on Switch for the same reason.
That is for sure.
OW has managed to become part of the normies concious.
Just look at the amount of Rule34/hentai it gets at daily basis, lol.
The problem is that by selling well, it reinforces the devs that it is ok to release an inferior product
While I agree 100%. You can only do so much with a system that’s severely underpowered. Especially when compared to the preferred platform (Steam/PC) people play on
This is inexcusable. Paladins is 60fps.
Damn 30FPS. I’ll probably pass just on the input delay alone. Kind of amazing to me some of the stuff that can run in 60 frames on Switch but this game won’t.
They are probably focusing on having the most crispier graphics they can while neglecting everything else.
Agree, add that the game offers more depth, too bad that it will be always seen as OW for poors, lol
Also, I don’t know if it means any thing or explains why OW on Switch is the way it is But Iron-Galaxy is handling the port.
Oh well, back to the good shit.
Edit: Oh I guess this was already posted through Twitter but, here it is on YouTube lol.
Overwatch doesn’t need to be 900p. Drop it down to 720 if need be. Most modern TVs got built in upscalers. The average normie likely won’t be able to tell.
