My guess is they’ve been planning this for a while. It’s also likely the reason they won’t be at E3 and will like just air a State of Play video.
Or I could be talking out my ass. I don’t know.
Either way I think State of Play is a good idea and a step in the right direction. Nintendo has been doing directs for 5 years now to great success and universal praise. Maybe State of Play can follow suite.
I got a Katana letter opener for pre-ordering it. I wish I knew there was a CE of the game, I probably would have went for that. EB/Gamestop exclusive and it’s sold out everywhere in my area already.
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories was the last game I needed to complete my Silent Hill collection. HYPE ISRAEL. Next set to comprete: Resident Evil(I’m 2 games away, 3 if I count the Gameboy Color game which is disgustingly expensive.)
The PSP version of Shattered Memories is around 20-30 bucks along with the Wii version, but the PS2 release is a 100 bucks. That crazy.
…And now Sekiro will be going to the backlog along with DMCV while I continue my adventures in Wraeclast AKA Path of Exile(which is getting a PS4 release on March 26. Try it out!)
I scooped Dark Souls 1 remaster to play with my mother who is in Tennessee. Just spent an hour and a half making my character. Love the way she came out but I’m even more ecstatic that she’s blue when she’s a zombie. Fucking dope lol.
The frame rate is great so far (30 seconds in). Its at 60 instead of 30 like on PS3.
Edit: should note the PS3 version was 30 when nothing was going on. It dipped frequently, and Blighttown was a crawl. Interested to see what Blighttown is like now.
Double Edit: I am quickly reminded that all spears in this series can eat shit and die. Hate the whole weapon class. Actually make that all thrusting weapons.
I forgot about the Vita Silent Hill game made by WayForward. Edited my post up there with a new pic.
DS1 Remastered is at 60 FPS like 98% of the time compared to DSII: Scholar of the First Sin which dips pretty often. You’ll only notice dips in DS1 against bosses like the Minotaur and the boss in painting level. Once there’s a shitload of hair/particle/alpha effects on screen it’ll tank the FPS.
I either forgot how shitty the rolling system in this game is, or just never noticed…one of the two but holy fuck does the roll never go where I am asking it to lmao. This is gonna be a readjustment period of major annoyance lol.
I hope you have the Wii version of Shattered Memories, because the framerate/visuals/audio quality all suffer in the PS2 and PSP ports. If you have not played it before, it is a great thriller.
