I wasn’t old enough or well off enough to buy a CD-i but I remember the infomercial and thinking ‘cool’ until I saw images of the Zelda cut scenes in motion. I remember seeing Hotel Mario looking like a SNES game, plus the Zelda games video with computer game looking graphics which I knew the SNES could not do and some of the FMV of some of the other titles. But for obvious reasons they never showed the animated Zelda cut scenes. Glad was not able to invest in that.
I do regret not picking up the Virtual Boy since there is no other way to play that one Wario Land game. Also the Saturn when it was dead cheap and Panzer Dragoon Saga wasn’t insanely priced.
Supposedly it’s Sony since this scene was apparently not censored in the PC and Xbone release but there’s another scene with Lady that is actually censored across all 3 versions so it might not be them and Capcom USA was just decided we couldn’t handle digital T&A in our games. Best guess based on the info provided.
Edit: I haven’t gotten that far in the game yet and I didn’t click on the video when i saw it in my feed earlier until just now but man that looks tacky as shit.
Almost bought the PS4 Dragons Crown steel book tonight for 17 bucks…might go back and scoop it, not sure. Even has the collectable skill cards inside still.
Apparently if you delete the day one patch you get the uncensored cutscenes to play in DMC5. I read this on GFaqs , so take it with a grain of salt lol. What did the day 1 patch do anyway?
But that’s not all. This summer, the story of The Messenger will take an unexpected turn with the release of a free expansion entitled Picnic Panic. This resolutely silly adventure will test your skills even more as our ninja heads to Voodkin Island in order to thwart Barma’thazël’s wicked plan.
