Unless Bethseda has a FO game by Obsidian they got nothing for me :(. Unless EA announces no more NFL contract or BFBC3 they can continue to eat a bag of dicks.
Actually good rollback at that. If nothing else with NRS they did something I didn’t even think was possible. A completely overhaul of a netcode of an already released game. There’s about 500,000 things that could probably go wrong there and they pulled it off. However my feelings toward NRS otherwise, that one contribution they made is definitely an insanely relevant and Earth-moving one.
Yet NRS lost a bunch of potential fans by, whatever fucking backroom reasons they still haven’t told everyone, they didn’t bring any of that to the PC version, even with half a friggen million people buying it.
it wasn’t that backroom. the PC version was a complete and utter mess and they basically would have had to hire a brand new team to redue everything let alone get it to the new level they expected from the console versions.
Not to mention they completely scrapped the PS3 and 360 versions of the game. They just decided to cut their losses. Fucked up, but it’s not actually hurting them that much.
Yeah. I feel bad for the pc players who bought mkx. Ive shitted on NRS heavy for it, but its been a few years since next gen consoles have hit the market, so im fine just picking the game up for xbone next year, or whenever scalebound comes out.
NRS games are just collectibles for me. I enjoy watching mkx competitively though, and i wanna play injustice 2, even though i literally have never played more than 10 minutes of injustice 1.
I think its shitty that ed boon and company havent apologized for that debacle, but thats just business 101. It was just super shitty, and shady as fuck.
What would you want from an SCVI? I really want the whole Soul Calibur lost swords game as a Weapon Master mode. Imma preach this shit till it happens.
I loved Prey, and was hype for the sequel…like back in 2012. Now I’m more concerned it is either going to be a Last Guardian or Duke Nukem Forever situation.
Think I’m most excited to see news on Wolfenstein reboot series sequel, I was legitimately surprised by the first game and the team that made it.
