Quite a bit of effort on Konami’s part to remake the cutscenes in Snake Eater in 2016 for a pachinko game.
When companies do things like that, given the nature of Konami and MGS these past few years its pretty apparent that this is some passive aggressive petty shit. Upper management everywhere are bitches, and this is the kind of stuff they pull.
Seeing a quality franchise like MGS be treated like shit can force a nerd down 1 of 2 paths:
Say that sucks and that it would have been nice to see Kojipro make a new MGS someday, but then realize there are already ton of quality MGS games by them and you can play them anytime you want and nothing Konami does can stop you
Saitsu: Konami sent us to hell, but we’re going even deeper, take back everything that we’ve lost! Po: Saitsu… stares at Capcom I’m already a demon… [NUCLEAR PLAYING LOUDLY IN THE DISTANCE]
its always a nice moment when you realize that sites just keep reporting when the show floor opens when in reality when all the cool shit happens a few days before that
And I always have this moment because I keep expecting sites to report the meat. why do I give a shit about some dude gets to wait for hours to play a game? all the cool stuff and the whole reason people even care about E3 is the press conferences to me that IS e3.
In short when I see a news report it should say Jun 12th -13th not 14th-16th. or 12th to 16th that works too.
Hellblade has potential to be a really unique action game, not going for the super technical in depth arcadey style of P*, or the button mashing of other 3D action games, seems like a more intimate puzzle like combat game with the 1v1 emphasis, I like that, but I also hope the whole game isn’t like that it could get repetitive if you only fight 1 enemy at a time, it might be the first Ninja Theory game I look forward to playing.
i just realized something i can ask for that won’t be happening, a new Ape Escape game. there now i can be disappointed with the rest of you dreamers. Yay for shared misery!
