You know, the way they worded it makes it sound like it will be on Xbox too. They said “first on PS4”, but with SFV they say PC and console exclusive on PS4. Come to think of it, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be on Xbox too. I forgot about that.

It’s awesome to see people so excited about this year’s E3. Nothing has given me a tingle down my leg, but I am old, and a dudebro.
I don’t care about any of them. I may not be a Shenmue fan but I love Yu Suzuki, and seeing that his dream will finally get realized brings the feels.
But fuck FF7, at least I can stop hearing about it now.

Kingdom Hearts 3 on Xbox makes little sense.
It won’t sell compared to PS4. It’s Final Fantasy XIII all over again. That game wasn’t even released for Xbox in Japan cause they knew it would have been a mistake.

The first two Shenmues’ poor sales lost SEGA quite a hefty chunk of change, so it only makes sense that Sony would want to see if people are willing to put their money where their mouths are before contributing to the project.
That being said, announcing the Kickstarter at E3 just looks bad for everyone.

Sony could have easily funded Shenmue 3, but ironically the game may not be as commercially successful as a AAA game like Uncharted.
But it’s happening so great, and it’s a cool feeling to see something great come to life and understand that it was all thanks to us.
