Devil May Cry 5. It’s a Capcom tradition to release an up to date version of the older title, a tactic used to get people interested for what’s to come. I think it’s happening guys.
Finally get to see footage of Scalebound, I fear it’s going to be pretty good since it’s the first next gen over the top action game that’ll run at a solid 60fps on the Xbone.
I don’t like FPS games, good thing The Division isn’t one of them.
King of Fighters 14? Nah, SNK went all out and held their own special booth with Mai tits on the front door last time. They’ll probably do the same since KoF isn’t as big over here.
Maybe we’ll get to see a brand new SF5 character that’ll convince me to jump on the SF5 hype train.
Looking forward seeing more footage for a few indie action game titles.
More interesting footage of FFXV and KH3. And maybe… FF7 PC to console port!
Sega bringing that Phantasy Star Online, Yakuza, and Persona. Uh oh.
Nintendo is the big one this year. While they said we’re not getting anything until 2016 I have a feeling they were just throwing Microsoft and Sony off. Of the three I’m most interested to hear and see what Nintendo is bringing to E3 this year.
It’s too late for that, the door has been shut, and this is Konami we’re talking about. Yeah.
I really enjoyed SCV. Too bad that its main fanbase is composed of story f@gs and the competitive scene is composed of spiless shitards that were more interested on bringing viewer numbers by putting mvc3 on stream than playing the game
i think it pretty much stopped after SC II, the series hasn’t been doing too well since that era. all of the other mechanics that namco tried implementing over the last few installments has dulled what a pure, weapon-based fighting game should be imo. it had a great roster, ring outs, GI’s for days and soul charge. they kept changing up the systems instead of refining it, now it just kinda sucks.
I’m honestly confused that Soul Calibur series has so many story fans. I didn’t even know the series had a plot until SCV. I can understand if there was a huge base for it’s single player content as the series until SCV had the best single player of any fighter that wasn’t modern Mortal Kombat. I would fuck with a new Soul Calibur if a new game brought back Chronicles of the Sword.
That’s not true in the least. The only issues I had with it were the lack of single-player modes/content, the shitty story, and the poor character selection.
It was honestly the most scaled back fighter in the series, less depth, yes, it was faster than 4, but I found more varied setups in 4 than I did in 5, and everything in 4 felt like an attempt at good Oki pressure, whereas everything in 5 was like fishing for meter then fishing for supers.
It didn’t feel like a Soul Calibur game, and it just felt braindead compared to SC4 or SC2.
Yeah, they timeskiped, dropped a lot of the cast from 4 and had soft anime looking offspring of the ones they dropped. Seem familiar? Patrokolos=Donte. What turned me off of SCV were supers. 3D fighters tend to not have invincible and hard hitting moves like those. I guess it’s the change in times because Tekken 7 will have similar moves. Awaiting Bushido Blade 3 for an authentic weapon based fighter. But still, Cervantes is too gud in SCV.
