-God Eater: Resurrection looks awesome, love how weapons can turn into monsters, but I’ll wait on reviews as I’ve never played a Monster Hunter type game
-13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim insta buy most likely as long as it’s not turn based
-Danganronpa 3 might buy, I blind bought the first 2 games since they were on sale since I read they were as good as Phoenix Wright still haven’t gotten to them
-Toukiden 2 will probably pass on it as I tried the demo of Toukiden: Kiwami and it felt so lackluster and generic
-Exist Archive looks kind of interesting, but definitely passing on it if it’s turn based
-Tokyo Xanadu looks kind of interesting too, and it’s confirmed real time combat, but will wait on reviews I have limited space on my 64GB card, only GDLK games make it in
Damn a bunch of PSV games I might actually want oh and that Ni-Oh trailer…holy shit!..might have to boot one of my indie top 5 games out of their spots lol that looks incredible…like wow so beautiful Horizon: Zero Dawn and Bloodborne are the 2 games that made me think of getting a PS4, now Ni-Oh confirms I’ll get one in 2016 GGWP self control.
It was announced yesterday but Tatsumi Kimishima is the new President for Nintendo (2nd not to be apart of the Yamauchi family) with Shigeru Miyamoto and Genyo Takeda being is sidekicks “Creative Fellow” and “Technology Fellow”. Kimishima worked for the Sanwa Bank of Japan for 27 years before joining Nintendo in 2000 where he was the CFO of the Pokemon Company, year later he the head of Pokemon USA Inc.
Kimishma was also the head of Nintendo of America before Reggie Fils-Aime.
The guys educational background is business law and isn’t a developer but he is a skilled administrator, accountant and businessman.
Apparently he also foretold the failure of the Wii U.
He mentioned digital games, bruh. NES is all physical, so it’ll work as long as it’s in good condition. Also, let’s be real for a sec… Those older consoles were build A LOT sturdier than the ones we have now. I mean, these things are crapping out after a few months of regular use. That said, looking 20 years into the future, having access to all the games you bought digitally are the LEAST of your problems.
Obviously it wasn’t Iwata. Don’t get me wrong as a programmer Iwata was a rare talent that could prove the experts wrong.
When there wasn’t any room left Iwata on his spare time over a course of a week managed to squeeze the whole Kanto map into Pokemon Gold and Silver’s limited cart memory.
The guy also debugged a whole lot of games with ridiculous time constraints. Iwata was the reason the US version of Dragon Warrior was superior to the Japanese Dragon Quest as Iwata fixed a game breaking glitch that could wipe saves.
I think the one issue with Iwata is that he is too much of a developer, he can manage and administrate, but that mostly been over other developers.
Nintendo didn’t have a President who had a gut instinct for business since Hiroshi Yamauchi, to be fair he did though Nintendo having its own Taxi service, chain of love hotels and their own brand of instant rice was a good idea. He almost bankruped the company until he switch Nintendo from a maker of playing cards to a company that made electronic toys and later video games. At one point he was the richest guy in Japan.
Tatsumi Kimishima was a banker for 27 years before working for Nindy. He helped marketed Pokemon to be the giant it is in the US.
For all we know he was that one guy at Nintendo saying “Wii U that is a stupid ass name, and it looks too much like our last console, also Miyamoto an idiot”.
For all we know its a project name like the Revolution or Dolphin.
NX may not be the products final name, we don’t even know if the NX is a console, a hand held or something else.
I was worried about Kimishima being all business but the fact that they announced that the Directs will continue have kinda lessened my worries. He probably won’t be as fun and down to earth as Iwata was but I want to see what he does from this point forward.
I understood it as from reports that Kimishima is soft and kind personality with a grumpy looking exterior. Like a old sensei with a good sense of humor.
Maybe that grump face is his natural resting position.
His smile does not look very friendly.
But who knows as Shigeru Miyamoto and Genyo Takeda are Kimishima’s side kicks.
Kimishima been to the US many times before, as a Banker and with Nintendo. Hell he worked at a office in Seattle for years.
We probably don’t need translation dubbing for Kimishima to do Nintendo Direct in English speaking countries.
With some of the strange things he said, I take Lord William at face value.

Maybe SNK outsource the project to a outside studio, maybe they don’t even have the funds and just licensed the title to someone else.
Since China lifted the video game ban their been a explosion of game developers.
I know it will sound nuts but did you remember how they changed the KOF MI2 name for the american release to KOF 2006 using the main name as marketing strategy to make more sells?! I think they’re doing the exactly the same thing here. Snk might need a quick buck right now so they cloud keep funding and working on the “real” sequel. Makes sense that how they did it with kof XII then released kof XIII also KOF new wave was made by another company if i’m not mistaken way before KOF XI ( the real sequel to kof 2003) came out.
SNKP themselves made the piece of shit that is Neowave. Made when they abandoned the Neo Geo hardware for Atomiswave and needed a game for the new hardware.
