Video Game General 3.0 - You know what should come back? Pre-rendered backgrounds!

Then evangelize MGS 3 as the last great MGS (in the mainline series, anyways). I’m pretty excited for PP (no homo) but I’ll wait until I build that PC…one of these days.

Base building looks addicting as all hell, though.

I dont care about Konami unless they make a good silent hill game, and who the fuck knows when that will happen.

No, my taste in games is vastly superior. It’s varied, I don’t stick one to one genre, I don’t stick to one platform, I don’t stick to one region, and I drive superior cars. Aston Martin, Skyline to the pieline, and Jaguars on Sumitomo tires.

Loves Western games and Western cock. Drives JDM cars; parts from Auto-Zone. Cousin Paco auto-shop made the modifications for a nominal fee.

“Vtec for life, puto!”

Contradiction to your beliefs? Only for the man who uses pink Xblox controllers. Arcade sticks utilized the pseudo-judo MURRICAN 6-button horizontal layout. Viewlix is dix, because 8 button = dick. But your 6 button layout = ass.

Speaking of dicc. Your messy room Xbone collection =

A lot of multiplatform games on the Bone. A console that looks like an over-designed potato. Don’t call Pimpus because it’s a console of choice for Tameme.

Rick Ross with the SA emoticons.

I would say it’s more of a show of solidarity (no pun) with Kojima more than anything. It’s clearly his best game to date, and absolutely his last Metal Gear. It’s more powerful having this one with record sales than falling below expectations.

So lets get everyone on the same page

No one cares for Konami any more. They are ether dead to us or "Fuck Konami"
Something to that effect. Do we all agree?

What we cared about are the titles Konami is once known for but they just shit on those series lately.
Metal Gear, Silent Hill, Castlevania, Gradius, ect ect ect… (Too many to name them all).
As far as anyone concern All of those IPs are dead

I not supporting Konami, I have no illusions that we could save the Video game division of Konami. That is already dead.
Konami off running health clubs, making pachinko machines (they are not games) and trash mobile apps.

Kojima I feel is one of the victims here, I just want to get MGS V Phantom Pain as a closing of a saga and to Honor Kojima.
And lets hope Kojima don’t fall into the same traps as Inafune (the selfish greedy prick he is) when he goes Independent.

Konami doesnt care about anything but yugioh and DDR. And both those things I could care less about.

Yugioh is hilarious to be as Konami has to pay licence and royalty fees to Wizards of the Coast on how similar Yugioh is to Magic the Gathering.
In in fine legal print on the back of every Yugioh instructions and rules booklets of what patents Konami has to pay licence to WoTC for.

But you wrong about that

All Konami cares for now is their Health Clubs, pachinko machines and gambling.

For those of you who played vlr and 999 which title do you prefer?

Personally I prefer vlr

From what I’ve heard from a friend of mine, it seems like Konami is screwing up Yugioh too. The power creep has gotten ridiculous and the ban lists haven’t been doing anything to curb the problems as of late. Seems a lot of players are getting fed up with it and quitting.

I’m glad I got out when I did. Stardust Overdrive to Storm of Ragnarok will always be the highlight of the game for me.

I prefer both on different levels, if that makes any sense.

Yeah, the only thing I can say with one over the other is VLR fixed the issue 999 had regarding hopping through the story tree.

If you asked me Yugioh long since been fucked up. Syncros ruin the whole game to me.
All the careful strategy and protecting your field is gone.
The game when from strategy to who can pull their big monster from their deck first.

Since then I stuck with MTG. The system more balanced, more options and play styles.
And WoTC actually have a R&D depart for play testing, Yugioh didn’t have rules set until the 3 or 4th season of the US version of the anime.

Konami has been on my list since Hybrid Heaven never had a remake or a sequel. And don’t get me started about Mystical Ninja :’( .

Eh…I don’t think that’s entirely true. I mean, at the beginning it may have been, TeleDad was stupid from what I’ve heard (fortunately I wasn’t back in the game at the time), but things seemed to calm down after that. Though a couple sets did make things a bit too crazy but the following banlists usually addressed that.

ZeXal I think is where hell truly broke loose and where what you described truly became the norm…and then some. Not just pulling the biggest monster, but the greatest amount. You know it’s bad when dark hole was at two and it STILL wasn’t enough. Heck they even brought Raigeki back down off the banlist to one copy and I don’t think that’s helping enough either.

Well, it did have a ruleset from the beginning, but only for the card game itself. I don’t think any of us actually followed those rules or read the rulebook until the Battle City arc of the anime though. At least, me and my friends didn’t. XD

Playstation Experience is coming Dec. 5th and 6th
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/08/14/playstation-experience-2015-comes-to-san-francisco/

Damn. K-Mart had the PS4 on clearance for $199. Online was already sold out, and I’m guessing the same for their few B&M stores.

The last Konami game I bought was DDR Max 2.

I really don’t have a problem with Konami outside of how badly it seems they treat their employees. Using Silent Hill for a Panchinko machine game and being enraged by that is fucking retarded, you need to put the games down, go outside and get some fresh air if that’s a big fucking deal to you. I understand being disappointed in the canceling of PT, but Konami doing what they said they where gonna do, AKA double down on gambling is a stupid thing to get angry over.

They are getting out of videos games. Move on. Hundreds of other great game companies out there to take their place. Half you guys hated whatever they made that wasn’t Metal Gear anyway, constant shit talk about newer CV games, and Silent Hill games and just about anything they made anyway, this isn’t a blow to you. Move on.

I still want suikoden finished by someone who gives a damn. It’s far fetched, but I’d like to see the IP sold off to a company that will finish this grand tale.
