PS4 was top yet again for the month. Xbone is up 44% year over year so far. 3DS is 35% up year over year. No mention of where Wii U is at the moment. Combined sales of Xbone and PS4 are almost 50% higher than 360 and PS3 combined sales after having 21 months on the market.

Current games in top 10 for the month are Lego Jurassic World (from outta nowhere), Batman Arkham Knight, Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto V, Rory McIlroy PGA Tour (really? I guess since it’s the only golf game that’s out I suppose…), Elder Scrolls Online, Destiny (look who’s back!), Mortal Kombat X, FIFA 15, and CoD AW. If bundles were included then Arkham Knight would have the top spot. Rory McIlroy out sold the previous Tiger Woods first month sales by 70%. Splatoon sold 85,000 bringing the NA sold amount to 540,000. Kinda surprised that Lego Jurassic World blew up that far.

  2. phantom pain has microtransactions (idc if it’s ‘optional’ or not , shouldn’t be in the game)
  3. these recent reports of how Konami are a nightmare to work for
  4. They cancelled Silent hills just so they could make a silent hill pachinko machine instead (truly wonderful)

MGS makes Konami money, that fact will not change whether Kojima is involved or not, what do you mean IF they release another game? That’s like asking if Activision will release a new COD, it’s a proven cash cow by a greedy company what makes you think anything short of God’s intervention would stop them?
