IDK why people don’t sell their near death consoles to gaming stores. From my experience they only turn the console on and play a random game for a few seconds. It’s not like they’re putting GTA5 in there. Nobody’s gonna wait for installs. These stores love to take those consoles off your hands, give you half of what it’s worth, and sell it for 95% of what it’s going for brand new. Why not give them one on its deathbed.

I liked both consoles last gen. 360 definitely was superior from like 06-08 though. Only the most delusional fanboy could think the PS3 was a even worth owning til 2008, much less better than the 360. The PS3 ended up catching up in a major way though, which was great. And I’m only talking in terms of library, not sales.
Right now the only good exclusive on new consoles is Bloodborne.

My original snes and n64 from childhood still work. I’m on my 2nd ps2, though I got 13 years out of my launch ps2. Also on my 2nd PS3. My launch 60 gig crapped out on me. I’ve got the slide top slim PS3 now.

I may have caught up barely by 2012-2013 when we were anticipating new systems and Sony put out those last hurrah exclusives. Nobody cared by then. 360 was clear leader 90% of last gen…in America, where it matters.

I never play a game I don’t like much less support it. I dropped SFIV when SFxT came out and never looked back. The game’s poverty now but I still stick with it. There still a community for it. That’s what matters to me.
