The art and animation is so fucking smooth and beautiful, it kind of looks like Mighty Number 9 except with much better lighting and colors, shit this game is being made by 2 people in a year and a half and a tiny fraction of the budget of MN9 and it looks wayyyy more fun than that game damn Swords, bullet hell, being able to use enemies as meat shields and hurl them as a projectile oh yes this will be mine and it better fucking come to PSV.
Edit: I just realized it looks a lot like the flying levels of Rocket Knight
I’ll probably be copping a Bone next year. Scalebound is probably gonna scratch that PSO itch. Granted XCX will as well, but I’m betting on Scalebound having better communication with teammates, than XCX.
Been watching video for Galak-Z and the Mech Mode looks fucking sweet honestly. It has an energy Sword and Energy shield, and it has a grapple hook for grabbing onto debris which you can then use to hide behind like pretending to be floating space junk, you can use the debris as a shield, or you can throw it at your enemies. Game apparently has 60 upgrades over the course of all 5 seasons, so I bet there is a pretty good number of upgrades for the Mech and Spaceship. So Mech looks to change the gameplay and add to it enough to be worth the mode, while still being the same kind of game that it already was. I’m fuckin stoked.
YOu know I’ve been kinda wondering if Kojima would stage this whole Silent Hills thing. It would be a great publicity stunt. People wanted the game yeah, but now they want it even more that they think they cant have. Guarantee the shit out of some sales that way if they come out of nowhere with “Lol I Kojima, I trole u” and the game is actually finished
