Soooo…what about Xbox people just out of curiosity? Cause they’re jumping right into 3 cold turkey…not that I think 3 would even sell that well on the Xbone in the first place mind you.
Well, Sega did say they’ve been learning from Atlus for the western market after they joined, and Atlas lives off of mostly niche games. They may change.
Toshihiro Nagoshi has said that he created the series with the adult JAPANESE male gamer in mind.
so it comes as no suprise that they don’t want to release games outside of there. And again… Yakuza 5 is only getting released since Sony are paying them (Sega) for it.
I also heard/read somewhere that all the product placement in the game is somewhat of an issue aswell , as Sega are most likely paying for licenses and w/e to use these brands in their Yakuza games. So you know… They not gonna make much profit by making all the gaijins happy. Not 100% sure about this but i think that’s what i heard before.
Assuming the buyers on XB1 haven’t owned a PS2/3 or at least played the game. There will be people who are legitimately playing for the first time, but the majority will be familiar with the series.
Any rhythm game players here that got recommendations? I just ordered Gitaroo Man. I been on the hunt for some modern ones but either they just aren’t dropping or Im over looking them. I also prefer ones where there’s shit going on like Parappa, Space Channel 5, Harmoknight and etc
Yeah I never really understood KH3 going Multi-Plat. Then again, KH has already been on a crapton of different consoles as it is so it’s really just par for the course.
