sheeeit, my 5 favorite gaming soundtracks, at least at the moment…and possibly of all time…it’s kind of tough but these come to mind immediately for me:

-Streets of Rage 2
-Bayonetta
-Skyrim
-Gears of War 2
sheeeit— Gears 2 has my favorite main menu theme of all time with “Return of the Omen” (great eerie, bleak tone going on there) and then there is the greatness that is “Insurmountable Odds”
Streets of Rage has the greatest classic boss battle theme of all time, easily with Never Return Alive.
Then there’s all the tracks from Actraiser… every last one of them is good stuff that I still listen to regularly today.
New character Necalli revealed for SFV.
It’s like Evil Tarzan but with a DBZ influence.
Oh, as far as OSTs…how the fuck did I forget Ridge Racer Type 4. It might BE THE BEST soundtrack ever created.

THE ODIN SPHERE HD REMAKE IS NOT JUST HD, THERE IS A TON OF NEW CONTENT.
New levels and new gameplay elements related to each characters abilities(mercedes has vertical levels and shmup-like levels!), new item crafting system, new attacks, etc. OS was already one of my all-time favorite games, and now I can get it in HD and in a greatly enhanced version no less, THAT ALSO INCLUDES THE CLASSIC VERSION in HD…

Pretty much all true while i worked for GS. Surprised there hasn’t been a lawsuit for this type of stuff they pulled over the years internally.
The “work 10 hours but get payed for 4” is terrible. If true I hope that the correct governmental bodies come down hard. Especially if it’s a constant/universal practice.
I really hate outright employee abuse. It’s been on the rise because of all the recession and recovery making it a employers market. It does nothing but destroy morale and stress workers out. It usually NEVER improves actual work quality. (and if it does, it’s only a short time before things go to hell)
A lot of people are saying Streets of Rage 2, but I’m gonna say Streets of Rage Remake because it contains tracks from all three games plus some new ones that I like and all of them contain tracks that resonate with me.
- SOR Remake
- Final Fantasy 8 (disclaimer: it is HARD for me to choose any particular FF soundtrack I like the most, but this is the one that got me started with the series).
- Sonic 3 and Knuckles
- Guilty Gear XX
- Super Smash Bros. Wii U
