Lack of interest. AAI1 didn’t sell all too well in the States. By the time interest increased it would’ve been too risky to put people in an AA overload with the rerelease of the Phoenix Trilogy along with DD’s release. AAI2 would’ve been the odd man out in sales most likely.
i feel like in DD a lot of phoenix wright’s charm that had been present through the series is pretty much non existent in pw5.
the writing in this game feels the weakest along with apollo justice.
apollo justice and DD are the weakest in the series.
I disagree with the last part. Absolutely nothing will make JFA not the weakest in the series. Case 2-4 alone isn’t enough to put it over AJ and DD and the game has very little good other than said case and the introduction of the Magatama.
JFA is next in line ,but because it wasn’t as easy as DD it gets a higher spot.
i just flat out don’t like AJ.
the bracelet and emotion took away a lot of enjoyment for me.
less magic more logic.
JFA though is the easiest game in the series before DD and the only points of difficulty were due to translation issues and a certain infuriating character I’m sure you know.
I feel DD had better character development and advancement than people give credit for and more enjoyable cases. I don’t feel that one great case and a mild difficulty jump makes up what DD has even if DD is relatively weak towards the rest of the series.
Just finished it. Holy shit the culprit was ridiculous as hell but it was a fun case and I liked the conclusion, they handle uhh keeping it anime without being too ridiculous even though what Maya does is ridiculous in a law setting lol
I’m hype that the black guy from Prototype 2 is coming back to the sequel. I always liked him better than the OG guy who was a pissant dick face.
Now I only need Cole from Infamous to come back in the sequel with Lightning and I’ll be set.
Also Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is the one true FE. I love going back and playing that game, fuckin’ classic. The new one coming out looks like shit.
