I do agree that a Berserk game doesn’t actually need to be slow and deliberate, because Guts DOES NOT fight like that, but FROM has made faster paced action games so it’s not like they couldn’t do it that way.
I would absolutely not be opposed to a P* Berserk though lol
Thanks for the input, should I also play the Miles Edgeworth game before Apollo Justice? But yeah Im excited to play the series, because Phoenix does seem like a cool character, and just bits of pieces that i’ve looked into makes it seem like the game has a very likable cast. So I’m looking forward to it alot
It honestly doesn’t matter. The Miles Edgeworth games aren’t referenced in AJ or Dual Destinies but they do take place before AJ (actually both Miles Edgeworth games take place over a span of 2 weeks essentially).
Just keep in mind that you either have to import the second Investigations game and learn Japanese to play it, or find a fan translation and an emulator.
The first Investigations game was pretty good though. I dont think I disliked a single game in the series, but I didnt play Dual Destinies and I hear that it’s not that great. Probably because Shu Takami didn’t write the script for that one.
It’s not hard to find a way to play AAI2. Court Records pretty much tells you what to do. Just a matter of figuring out the emulator. Worth the effort though, MAJOR improvement over the first game.
And Dual Destinies was fine. As LW said its biggest drawback is that they made the damn game way too easy. I understand making the Investigations easier because fuck Pixel hunting but they also pretty much hold your hand through trials and there’s very little penalty for failing (if you even do). The script is solid though, the cases are fun even if way too damn easy.
